Finding Nemo Character Analysis Essay

H-In life people cannot predict what will happen to them, there are traits that specific people have to survive. B-In “My Escape from North Korea”, “Trapped” and “Finding Nemo” they all have the will to live, and determination. Finding Nemo is a story about how a father and a son split and the journey to find each other. T-By reading these three stories these characters have bravery, will, and strive.
C-To begin, In the story “My escape from North Korea” Hyeonseo demonstrates the trait bravery. E-On page 2 of the story, it says “I took a flight back to China and headed toward the North Korea border.” A-This demonstrates bravery by when she was already free, and she went back to free her parents. Hyeonseo had to live in China without her family

and also traveled to South Korea, before finding her parents. Hyeonseo’s bravery led her to help her parents and escape the horrible things happening in North Korea. E-Also on page 2, it says that “After I paid the fine and bribe, my family was released in one month.” A-This demonstrates bravery because she risked all of her money on her parents would still be jailed on the way to freedom. Hyeonseo’s bravery helped her family escape. L-Bravery is a very important trait for a survivor to have when trying to escape to freedom.
C-Initially in the story “trapped’ Aron demonstrates the trait of will.

E-On page 3 of the story, it says “I’ve spent two hours getting the anchor up, now I got to move the bolder.” A-This defines the word will because when Aron is trapped in a canyon for a long time, he has the will to escape. He has been without water for a while and he has lost all tension in his arm trying to free it. Aron is thinking that he will die so he emphases on escaping which is his priority. E-On page 5 it states “If I torque my arm far enough, I can break my forebones.” A-This describes the trait will because it shows that he will sacrifice anything to escape and see his family again. His will for living and sacrificing his life shows that he is a survivor by cutting his forearm off. He has a dream that he will be a father and determines to escape the canyon. L-The trait will is shown in the story in the story

“Trapped”.
C-When it comes to the story “Finding Nemo” the trait strive is a term used to describe Marlin.

E-In the story Marlin has to go through the jellyfish and the Australian coast to find his missing son. A-This is striving because when Marlin has lost all his sons by a shark eating them, he strives to find his strives to find his only one. Marlin’s only love in his life is his son and he would do anything to save him. Marlin would risk his life and go through series of obstacles to find Nemo. E-In the story Marlin has to save him and Dory from a group of three sharks that try at the end to eat them. A-Marlin strives to get out of the shark area with Dory alive. Even though Dory has a short-term memory lost that is very bad, Marlin still try’s to help her escape. Marlin and Dory had to go through the sharks to find his missing son. L-Strive is a very important trait for a survivor because of the wanting of

something.
RT-In this case by reading these three stories these characters have bravery, will and strive. RP-Being a survivor like Hyeonseo, Aron, and Marlin takes tremendous effort. Cl-The traits that make a survivor can be a combination of many traits. But, there are different kinds of survivors. These people had a certain trait to make themselves be called survivors.
