Within the artistic work of film, those who go to a movie theater and appreciate what the film has to offer depends on the type of people watching the film from casual viewers to critics and scholars, as well as the type of film that is being shown. Whether it is a narrative, or a documentary, people find a films strengths and weaknesses to determine how it takes its own place in film history, or gets lost in the thousands upon thousands of pointless movies. One film which does have its ups and downs, but does get recognized for its production team and the actors which play roles made for them is Suicide Squad. After a fatal accident with an archeologist named June Moore played by Cara Delevingne, a witch who is over 6000 years old named Enchantress has taken over her body making her way into Junes mind and taking control most when June is sleeping. One night while she is asleep, Enchantress takes over her body once again and then proceeds to find her brother who was originally in the same place she was, releasing him from captivity, bringing even more trouble into their already psychotic world. Rick Flagg, who is played by Joel Kinnaman develops a love interest with the archeologist June, and after he finds out about Enchantresses brothers escape, both he and June go to where the brother is to try and use Enchantress to plant a bomb right by him to kill him. As a result, when Enchantress takes over Junes body again, she proceeds to help her brother so he gives her enough power to maintain control over Junes body. This incident then results in the release of the Suicide Squad who is overseen by Amanda Waller, and these people, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, El Diablo, Killer Croc, Katana, and Colonel Rick Flagg must come together to take down this ancient villain dealing with hardships, and tough relationship building along the …show more content…

That is able to happen by the different uses of camera angles, lighting, human composition, and the human figure which would be the mise en scene. When a much darker tone is paired with the mise en scene and the production companies, that is how Superman v Batman is born, which contrasts from how Suicide Squad is born because that film has a much more sadistic and comedic tone. Examples of how these films differ in their style of production could include the lighting and the soundtrack of the films alone. With Batman v Superman, the lighting in that movie includes much darker shades and minimal brightness as well as a very brooding and jarring soundtrack creating that chaotic tension between the two characters since there really is no protagonist of the film. Yet in Suicide Squad, the lighting of that particular film has much more vibrant colors and a large level of brightness with a soundtrack that many viewers, both casual and critical, enjoy thoroughly by singing along to the music and recognizing many of the songs since that film does emphasize on classic rock. Both of these films are produced in different styles, yet they all live in the same universe which proves to be a positive attribute to the film making
