The Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, Fifty Shades Darker is rounding out its cast, and not only has Kim Basinger been added as Elena "Mrs. Robinson" Lincoln, but Hugh Dancy has been announced to portray Dr. John Flynn in the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hugh Dancy will play an important role in Fifty Shades Darker. Dr. John Flynn is a British psychiatrist who is revealed to have moved to Seattle after he married an American woman. Dr. Flynn is the therapist to lead character Christian Grey, who happens to know all of his secrets. In fact, Flynn may be the only one who knows everything there is to know about Christian and his mysterious background that he chooses to keep hidden from girlfriend Anastasia Steele. According to the Elena, or "Mrs. Robinson," as Ana calls her, is a friend of Christian's mother, and also the woman who introduced him to the BDSM scene. Ana is not only jealous of Elena's past sexual relationship with Christian, but she is also upset by her current business partnership with him. In addition, Ana believes that Elena is a child molester as she started her relationship with Christian when he was a young teenager, although Christian maintains the fact that Elena helped him out of a very dark time in his life, stemming from his childhood, which should be further explored during Fifty Shades Darker. Although Fifty Shades of Grey got less that flattering reviews by critics, fans are looking forward to the sequel, which is regarded as a heavy favorite among book readers. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's steamy scenes, as well as the introduction to a slew of new characters, leave fans hopeful that Fifty Shades Darker will be much better and full of more content than the original. The movie is currently filming in Vancouver and is due out for release in February 2017. What are your thoughts on the latest Fifty Shades Darker
Some actors in this movie do a good job of portraying their character. However, a few take away from the overall experience, such as Tony Ross and Claudia McNeil. Tony Ross, who is an actor known for Pancho Villa, plays Stacey Logan. Claudia McNeil was an actress known for her role in Raisen in the Sun, and she portrays Big Ma. Both of these

Write-up: Mama Elena is a stern and bitter woman who oppresses Tita to be her caretaker through the family tradition. She keeps Tita from her true love, Pedro, and it is later revealed that Mama Elena herself once suffered from a lost love, embittering her for the rest of her life. Any child of her is deemed unworthy when he/she does something that is against her "rules." She takes this to the extreme where the rules are imposed on her more "public family," John Brown and Pedro included. Her stern stature is noted when her daunting gaze makes the Revolutionary general Juan Trevino uneasy. Eventually, her pride and distrust is revealed to be her major flaw which causes her death.
In Ken Kesey’s novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, the reader has the experience to understand what it was like to live in an insane asylum during the 1960’s. Kesey shows the reader the world within the asylum of Portland Oregon and all the relationships and social standings that happen within it. The three major characters’ groups, Nurse Ratched, the Black Boys, and McMurphy show how their level of power effects how they are treated in the asylum. Nurse Ratched is the head of the ward and controls everything that goes on in it, as she has the highest authority in the ward and sabotages the patients with her daily rules and rituals. These rituals include her servants, the Black Boys, doing anything she tells them to do with the patients.

I decided to review “Silver Linings Playbook”, which is based on a romantic-comedy novel written by Matthew Quick. It was produced in 2012 by The Weinstein, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro.
In the saying of “Character is what you are in the dark” by Dwight Lyman Moody, can meaning many different things. One being, “you are most yourself when no one is watching”, another one also being, “dark and troubled times bring out a person's true nature”, and “your true nature is on the inside”. This quote can or cannot apply to the play of “Romeo and Juliet” by Shakespeare.
The film stars Hopkins as elegant cannibal Hannibal Lecter. When he's not disemboweling or dining on his hapless victims, he engages in a transatlantic cat-and-mouse game with FBI agent Clarice Starling, played by Julianne Moore. Jodie Foster played Starling in "Lambs," but opted not to return, reportedly because of the new film's violence. Ridley Scott ("Gladiator") directed. The original was directed by Jonathan Demme.
When an individual travels into unknown territory, their greatest chance of survival is in gaining an understanding of the land and the people that inhabit it. The natives are the people who understand the location and what simple missteps could lead to death. The natives live in a world different from the travelers, and the knowledge they carry is greater than anything brought from home. How a character adapts to the environment influences their survival and what they retain after returning home. In Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad and State of Wonder by Ann Patchett the main characters must adjust to being in an unknown location or face death. The narrators of State of Wonder and Heart of Darkness journey into unfamiliar territory, however
After their first encounter, Anastasia and Christian both agree on some dominance-submission terms as the relationship progresses. Fifty Shades of Grey currently makes the top of my favourites list. I first heard about Fifty Shades of Grey from a few close friends who couldn’t stop talking about Christian Grey’s impeccable looks, charming and bossy personality, and sexual abilities. After a lot of convincing, I read the book; I needed to understand why the book was so popular, and what it was about that intrigued millions of young girls and women. The first time I read it, I couldn’t stop- it was intriguing, enthralling, different, and realistic.
The socioeconomic status of a man determines his eligibility in eighteenth century English society rather than his character. In Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, the protagonist, Elizabeth Bennet, searches for love in a society concerned solely on the financial and social aspects of marriage. Conflicts arise when Elizabeth encounters the proud, Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy as she develops strong complex emotions towards him. When Lydia, Elizabeth’s youngest sister, weds the captivating Mr. Wickham, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth 's relationship further complicates. Through comparing the second eldest and the youngest Bennet daughters, Lydia’s childish qualities foil Elizabeth 's mature sensibility.

Most people, throughout history, have always been quick to judge others and their actions. Author John Milton is no different. In his books of Paradise Lost Milton finds faults in Eve’s actions and blames her for the fall of mankind. He points out specific flaws in her character. Flaws like chosen ignorance, pride, and vanity. They way Milton makes these points in Paradise Lost almost encourages readers to believe that all women possessed these character flaws and are there for the cause of most problems for men.
The first intimacy they encounter is a long kiss in the evaluator initiated by Christian. He always signs the contract with the lady before he can touch her. However, Ana was an exception to this rule
