One that I know for sure is to continue playing field hockey and getting to play with new people. I would also like to try and get a spot on the varsity team and play on varsity in my freshman year. During my high school year I would like to maintain good grades and get honors every marking period. With that being said you have to manage your time wisely and get everything done on time and be able to play, which I don't think it will be that hard because I already have to do it here in the middle school. I will continue to help and volunteer with the younger kids and spend time with them to help them get better and have better skills. With helping and coaching kids it help you be a team leader with id also good for being a coach because you need to be able to lead your own team. When I am in highschool and I get through the first couple years and more younger kids come in I would be a good role model because I like spending time with kids and helping out the underclassman. All of these goals would be good and could me into a good college if I continue to follow my
Helmet or no helmet? This controversial issue for girls lacrosse has been growing stronger each year. If you have ever seen men's lacrosse their uniforms are almost identical to a football player. While women only wear goggles and a mouth guard. So why why is this such a controversial issue? Shouldn’t women want to wear helmets for protection? There is a lot of evidence to review on the topic. In the articles titled, “A Case Against Helmets in Lacrosse.” by Alan Schwarz, the non-fiction piece titled “Headgear Rule for Girls” by Bill Pennington, another article named, “Helmets In Lacrosse” by Krystina Lucid, and “How Women's Field Lacrosse Differs from Men's Field Lacrosse” by James Hinkson and Joe Lombardi. Girls lacrosse should not wear more head gear/ a helmet because if they are protected they feel they can play a more aggressive game, the rules in girls lacrosse do not allow any

At my school we have a little league baseball field that need some work done to and it and it needs to be cleaned up. It is a great idea to clean up the field for the little kids that want to play baseball because this keeping them out of drugs and bad things that will get them out of trouble. I was always taught to respect nature. My parents told me to be kind to animals and to not throw things on the ground (like trash). It seems to me that not enough people are teaching those same values today. If you are in doubt, just take a walk through City Park. I go there every Tuesday afternoon for baseball practice, and I have a game there every Saturday. Believe me when I tell you that City Park is a mess. The baseball fields need repair. Trash is all over the
Soccer is the most popular sport in the world. Soccer is played in every country on earth, and for many of them, it's their number one sport. The sport's beast leagues are traditionally in European countries such as England, Spain, Italy and Germany. Some are even considered to be in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. The United States and Canada are not traditionally known for their high level leagues, however, Major League Soccer is quickly changing that.
The sport I chose to write about is floor hockey. I decided to write about it because is one of my favorite sports. Floor hockey is a variation from ice hockey. One of the differences is that floor hockey is not played on ice, like ice hockey is. One of the main characteristics of this sport is the flat floor. Another difference is that unlike ice hockey, floor hockey is a no contact sport.

As I hear the sharp chirp of another whistle blow my heart drops. I was already exhausted I lost feeling in my legs already and my feet were already starting to hurt. I could taste the salt of my own sweat as it trickled down my face and even into my eyes so i got that slight burning feeling. Even though my muscles scream no i know i have to go again. Another mountain i have already done a few but this is what I signed up for by playing Hockey. A mountain is a infamous conditioning drill that almost every hockey player is well acquainted with. You start on the goal line then skate as fast as you can to the closest blue line then go back to the starting position, after you get back you immediately go and skate to the red line then back again.

Millions of young athletes dream of being a star player in the National Football League. Professional football players are seen as freaks on the field, but what people do not understand is that many of them suffer emotionally and mentally just like regular people. We as humans love adrenaline rush and action and sometimes we let that get ahead of ourselves by depending on these players to provide that rush. Fans should stop putting so much pressure on professional football players to reach our unattainable expectations and realize that they too are only humans. NFL players face struggles such as the abuse of drugs and alcohol, the stress of physical expectations, and social media scrutiny.
When I was in high school, I was involved in many different ways, but my biggest commitment by far was playing on the varsity field hockey team. I began playing field hockey in the fifth grade and took a great liking to the sport. As an incoming freshman to my new high school where I did not know many people, I decided to try out for the field hockey team in hopes of meeting new people and making a few friends before the official start of school. After a grueling week of tryouts in the heat of August, I found out that I had made the junior varsity team, and I could not have been more excited. My love for the sport only grew from that point on. My hard work on the JV team my freshman year led to a spot on the varsity squad my sophomore year
