Do you know what fidget spinners are , Well a fidget spinner is a toy that consist of a ball bearing in the center multi-labeled. Fidget spinners should not be allowed in school. Fidget sinners shouldn’t be in schools because of the distraction and many other reasons.
One reason fidget spinners shouldn’t be allowed in school is because the toys have become a major distraction. “ Although seemingly harmless, theses items are being taken out during class causing distraction to students and staff. ” From the article schools are banning fidget spinners, calling them nuisances and even dangerous by Valerie Strauss. In some schools are banning fidget spinners. They say that some kids can't concentrate on both the teacher and the fidget spinners. Some even say that the teachers are getting distracted. “ They say the toys have become a major distraction to teachers and students ad in some case, they are being banned from classrooms” proves that fidget spinners in class isn't such a good idea. Parents believe it is not healthy and therefore should be restricted. The two articles, “Blame Society, Not the Screen Time” by Dana Boyd and “Don’t Limit Your Teen’s Screen Time” by Chris Bergman, both talk about how parents should not limit their kid’s screen time. Both authors are writing to parents of children who they think spend way too much time on their electronics. However, Dana Boyd has a much better compelling argument for not restricting teenager’s screen time. Boyd has a much better appeal to both audiences. She manages to employ better uses of both pathos and logos
First , vending machines should be allowed is because they could keep students focused . Sometimes kids get dizzy and don’t stay focused . So we need vending machines to prevent kids from getting ill . Also it would provide a greater selection of food options . So if the vending machines are here it would make students happy .

He played as a teacher in a Disney movie. He also appears in other things such as The Climate Code on The Weather Channel, VH1 reality show, and more. HE also has his own scientific work as a scientist. Bill Nye created a show that used humor to innovate ways to overcome boredom from the kids and illuminate the world by teaching the concepts of science.
Fidget Spinners are the new popular kids toy in homes across the nation. All of the kids want fidget spinners. Everyone is having fun spinning these for hours doing tricks and more. Unfortunately, fidget spinners can be terrible too. The toy was originally intended to help kids especially those with attention disorders focus, but it seems to do the opposite. They are disrupting class, and are injuring hundreds of other kids. Kids should not use fidget spinners because they are dangerous, distracting and they are being misused.
In “Hooked on ‘Caramel-Colored Gold,” Melody Nelson claims “Despite the increased awareness of the benefits of good nutrition, we are a nation hooked on junk food, and many school administrators are taking advantage of the situation ” (par. 3). Nelson propose a ban on vending machines in schools because junk food is unhealthy for children, and they risk future health problems. I agree with Melody Nelson and believe that vending machines should be banned from school campuses, because they sell unhealthy food, they cause more money to schools for hiring extra custodians, and they are affecting children learning abilities.
Are fidget spinners worth all the hype? Should they be allowed in classrooms, or should they be banned? Fidget spinners are growing more popular every day with kids all around the world buying them. The real question is -- Are kids using them for the real purpose? Children should not have fidget spinners because they are harmful to kids, they are distracting in classrooms, and they are being taken advantage of.
A fidget spinner is a type of stress-relieving toy. A basic fidget spinner consists of a bearing in the center of a design made from any of a variety of materials including brass, stainless steel, titanium, copper and plastic. The new craze now in days is fidget spinners. Everyone either wants one of has one. They are meant for focus with work or activities. They were originally meant for kids who need to fidget in class but everyone has one now. Are they distracting in class? Should they be banned from every school in the USA? Yes and no. Kids who need them should have them but the other kids should not. The kids who do not need them are using them as toys and distracting the rest of the class and maybe the teacher. Due to this argument, parents and children now heavily rely on technology for a main source of play, limiting the challenges of all creativity and imagination (Rowan 3). Although technology can provide some games and tools that can help children learn, it does not provide the same benefits as actual play and actually causes more harm than good. One of the main problems with play through technology is the fact that children are seeing a “symbolic representation of the real world” and are not receiving a direct experience of the real world with real people and materials (Rice 3). The more time children spend looking at a screen, the more they are isolating themselves and not spending time with other children and adults (Rice 3). This is not only damaging to the learning development of a child, but also the healthy development of forming relationships and social skills (Rice 3). According to a 2010 Kaiser Foundation study, children who are in elementary school use on average 7.5 hours per day of entertainment technology and spending this much “screen time” is damaging to the development of children because their “sensory, motor, and attachment systems have biologically not evolved to accommodate this

You would only use these devices for school work nothing else, but only after school. Electronic devices should be used in school because they can be used in an emergency, increases students organization, and for educational purposes.
Buzzzzzzzzzz! Another cellphone is going off in the middle of class, causing her to blush and discreetly check her new text message. A virtual conversation is buzzing back and forth inside one classroom and into the classroom across the hall, having a discussion about the party that night or the lipstick color chosen at the mall. In another classroom, a student posts the answers to the English exams on her profile page, allowing all of her buddies to read and use for their time of the exam. There are multiple examples of students using their cell phones during class time to communicate their thoughts, images of their environment or dangerous crimes. In addition, the percentage of students with cellphones now soars to about 80% (Ban). This highly increases the chance for students to have a cell phones on them during school. Cell phones can also be harmful to students during class, taking them into another world of technology, separated from the classroom, and turning them down a road of decisions they never intended on doing. Overall, cell phones alter classroom learning in a negative way, and should be banned from use in the classroom at all schools.

Electronics are a huge part of our society. “Out of the world’s estimated 7 billion people, 6 billion have access to mobile phones” (Wang). Over thousands of these cell phones are owned by students K-12. A major debate topic is should cell phones be allowed in schools? “Twenty-four percent of schools have banned mobile devices altogether and sixty-two percent allow them on school grounds, but not in the classroom” (Raths). Technologies like computers or iPads (or anything with internet access for that matter) in the classroom could possibly distract students from their work. Classroom administrators seem to forget that the majority of students really don’t want to be in the classroom.. I remember when I was in highschool, whenever a teacher would bring students into a computer lab, or bring class sets of computers, or bring iPads into the classroom for a lesson a large portion would go onto twitter, or onto any unblocked flash game website whenever the teacher was not looking, try to access anything for them to “escape” the classroom. When there are a large majority of children and/or teens that do not want to go to school, and are given tools to be rebellious so easily, what is going to stop them? Aside, who really wants to sit through the same autonomous paper typing over and over again...
