Today’s topic is going to be about fashion affecting society. Every person has different opinions on how this works. First of all fashion trends is making people go wild. Literally not everyone but some are getting wrong ideas. Parents are complaining on why their kids are not focusing in school. Fashion is the reason why their brains aren’t focus on learning the attention is all on fashion. Why are people feeling uncomfortable with themselves? Well there to busy being judge. Fashion is a whole other story when things start to be in issue.
Changing trends and values are on another level. People are too focus on how they want to dress and change their whole closet for better styles. But do they know that they are making the wrong choices. They are being influence with bad ideas. “Fashion teaches people to judge others who dress poorly or not fashionable”. “One should not judge a person on the way they dress because they don’t want to be laughed at”. Money is being spent on unnecessary things. There are important things in life that needs to be solve and use money wisely. “Gucci or Nike brand are expensive, these brand make people go crazy”. A lot of people like to follow the same steps of others. An example is if someone were to see somebody else have like a Gucci bag or something that other person is going to want it to. Some people try so hard to try to find a way to get more money to own at least one brand. Believe it or not people do go through things to get what they want. “Spending your money on something useless is wrong and people should give reasons on how this can affect you”. In fact it is not worth buying, you don’t need a brand to be popular. They are people in the word who don’t have what they want. They grew up un wealthy and they feel a shame because they can’t get what we
Our people are too blind to realize what fashion can do to a person. Sure first impressions are influenced by appearances. It’s true indeed that the first trait when people see each other for the first time is what they are wearing. However where do we draw the line? People excessively attempt to imitate runway models or their favorite artists. Becoming too wrapped up following the newest trend or the hottest style this season. Men and women desperately try to mold themselves into fashions “ideal body.” Fashion is harmful to society; it promotes harmful lifestyle choices, can contribute to bullying and often causes debt problems to young woman.

For children in public schools, fitting in with the popular, or most fashionable people is probably the most important thing to them. When children are preoccupied wi...
Fashion is a form people use as a way for self expression. For me, fashion dictates how a person sense of style is; some may be bold and loud or simple and calm in which it also gives others an outlook on how their character may be. Although fashion is a way to express ones’ sense of style it does not tells us who the person is personally. Fashion in the society of the 1900s has changed female gender roles then and now by the way their roles changed during the time.
Fashion is an outlet people use to express themselves. People anxiously wait to see what the next trends are as seasons pass by. We buy anything that doesn’t break a bank, people buy a $10 shirt just because it’s cheap and they might not even wear it, but it’s all right, since it wasn’t expensive. As harmless and normal as that scenario sounds, the fashion industry has created the harmful concept that is “fast fashion”, in which stores sell an abundance of extremely cheap trendy clothing and “where deliveries are small and often, with stock delivered twice a week, for instant-access fashion.” (Cochrane)
Fashion, psychology and the sociological perspective have long been perceived as mutually exclusive concepts. However, is there a possibility that a trinity exists in the former? To illustrate, it is evident that throughout history fashion has influenced society as a whole and has mirrored its aspects i.e. economical and sociological. Furthermore, this influence has developed to be perceived psychologically where individuals identify with fashion in the sense of translating visual information showing their personal views and attitudes. To that effect, what is fashion? Traditionally and in the literary sense, fashion is defined as ‘a popular trend, especially in styles of dress and ornament or manners of behavior’ . However,
Clothing has always been an important part of society, with evidence from the earliest human civilizations. In history, climate, religion and political factors played a role in the fabrication, styling and even color of the garments that people wore. Today, the fashion industry is multi-faceted, and while climate and religion are still some factors in how we dress, there are many more influences in what we choose to wear. Time and time again, designers reference historical styles and push them into modern trends. Subcultures illustrate how a particular way of dressing can transform into a lifestyle. Ethnic fashion ties in with a specific culture’s values and beliefs. By looking at clothing in other societies around the world, as well as the many global subcultures, we can learn a lot about the depth and complexity of the members that make this world colorful and diverse.
Certain times have advanced fashion and the 18th century was full of days which led to it possibility for more people to know about fashion.
...e day according to the trends that are being observed. Recently, it has been observed that smart casuals are worn on Fridays. As a result, business companies are allowing their workers to dress-down so that they can blend with their customers from other industries. As social trends are changing, the mode of dressing is continually changing. People are taking up the walking lifestyle hence they consider putting on suits cumbersome. In addition, there is an increasing demand for clothing fashions that are compatible with all the activities of the day.
Many times in a teenager's life there are choices that have to be made. Many of the choices us teenagers make are influenced by peer pressure. Sure, I had obsession with many trends growing up, but later on in life I heard a quote that really aimed at my thoughts, the quote was "The shoe doesn't make the man, the man makes the shoe."
Kids and teens have the right to pick out what they wear, sure it may take a bit longer, but in the long run it is worth it. Everyone has the right to express themselves freely and by the way they look. It can tell what kind of person they are. Think about it, you go into a school that has uniforms you see everyone wearing the same stuff who is who? What kind of personality could they have, maybe one like being a brick in the wall. Walk into a school without uniforms and you can instantly tell anyone’s personality by what they wear, so they express their emotions through their clothing.
Fashion is a currently valued style of appearance and behavior. It is a way to shape one’s external custom. The history of fashion dates back to hundred years ago and it has seen a remarkable progress in the 21st century. Man has endeavored a lot to bring new changes according to style and elegance that suits his needs and desires. Apparently, our culture is inclined towards fashion and change in the former brings change in the latter. When we talk about Pakistan, from the independence day of August 14, 1947 up-to-date, it has been a society in transition and being dynamic in nature, it isconsequently ever-changing and its patterns are transforming from time to time.
Fashion is an interesting thing. It is often said that it is recycled. I have even heard people from different generations say “ I use to wear that back in my day”. I find it so fascinating, that I would sit and wonder if the clothes that I am wearing now was once the style of previous generations in my family. Through the years, fashion has been created, recycled and even it even faded away. Have the fashion trends throughout the generations of my family followed any parts of the cycle?
If these new coming trends of fashion make you feel special and confident; then it also sometime embarrasses you in front of others when you do not apply things on yourself according to your individual personality. For young age people, who are much affected and influenced by new fashion, it gives harmful effects too. Girls have to face some crucial crime due to their unfit dressing style which does not suit the location.
Fashion exists all around world ever since mankind started living on the Earth. The ways people live have changed as well as fashion changed drastically through out the human history and people are looking for fashionable and also comfortable garments that can be wear at any occasion. Firstly, I agree that the people who follow the trends create an image about themselves which does not reflect their character because they do not make their own decisions on what to wear. It is argued that fashionistas tend to lose their
