Family Guy, ted, ted 2, American Dad!, The Cleveland Show. None of these amazing shows and movies would be possible without the one and only Seth MacFarlane. A man that holds no boundaries when it comes to talent, or his television shows. From acting to singing, you can't stop him even if you tried, this is what makes him a Renaissance man.
Growing up
Seths animation, writing, singing, acting career all started when he was about two years old. He started by drawing simple cartoons like, Woody Woodpecker and Fred Flintstone. As soon as he could talk, he asked the question, “How are cartoons made?” This question sparked his inspiration to find out. At age nine, he got a job with his local newspaper to write a comic strip every week. He used his own voice for both Larry (early draft of Peter Griffin) and Steve (the dog, early draft of Brian Griffin). The show was also his capstone project at the Rhode Island School of Design. Many of the cutaways and scenes in The Life of Larry show up in Family Guy, showing that he made connections with the two shows. With two other shows he was making at the time,(American Dad! and The Cleveland Show) he had many troubles keeping up with Family Guy. The only reason that The Cleveland Show was a thing was because of Seth taking Cleveland Brown from Family guy and moving him to Vermont to have his own show that lasted for five seasons, then Cleveland came back to Family Guy. American Dad! has not had any problems but they could come up in the future if Seth gets careless with profanity like he did in 2002 and got Family Guy canceled, but came back due to popular demand in 2005 when American Dad!

Charles Schulz has persevered through most of his life to ensure that Americans can laugh when they receive the news paper every morning. He worked every day through cancer and wars and even the death of his parents.

Family Guy’s popularity has increased astoundingly since it’s cancellation in 2002. In 2005, it became the first television show to have ever been resurrected due to the high volume of DVD sales (Gablan). Since then, its popularity has increased to become a consistent sitcom to appear in the Nielsen Ratings top 20 each week, while becoming the forty-third most popular overall show, and second most popular animated series on Tv.com, the most popular online television viewing site in North America (Richards). Family Guy first hit national television on December 20, 1998, although, Seth MacFarlane had been working on a thesis film quite similar to Family Guy while majoring in animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. The film he created was titled The Life of Larry.
Theodor Seuss Geisel, Born March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts (“Up Close” 1), better known as Dr. Seuss, the man responsible for the fun and creative childhood stories most people read as a child. “Countless Americans can recall his books as their first steps into the land of letters and wordplay” (Barack 1). Because of this, Geisel has become an American icon because of his Impact in most of the general public’s childhood; his stories helped children better pronounce words, and knowledge them as well as giving them a fun and creative story to enjoy.

He took a live human and inserted them into a cartoon. He was the first to do this. After he produced so many of these shorts, it was when he found his place in Hollywood. The more shorts he did, the more famous and well known he became. Walt had accomplished so much in his life, but the only thing left was a family.
Matt Lauer A.K.A Matthew Todd Matt Lauer is best known as American television news anchor. He was also known as the co-host of NBC The Today show, with Savannah Guthrie. He remained in NBC from 1997 to 2017 and a contributor for Dateline NBC. While he was at NBC, he worked in several shows such as the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from 1998 to 2017 and co-hosted the opening ceremonies of several Olympic Games as well. Due to his allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior towards a colleague, Lauer was fired from NBC in November 2017. As per Matt Lauer bio, he is holding an American nationality and belongs to Ashkenazi, Jewish, English, Scottish, German and Dutch ethnicity.

Friday Night Lights is a film directed by Peter Berge, which is based on a book written by H.G. Bissinger. Based on a true story of the Permian Panthers throughout their 1988 football season as they make a run towards the state championship. Focusing on some of the football players, the film showed the different challenges each endured throughout their lives. Every player has his own life, but the center of it is football At that time, Odessa, Texas was suffering from racism and many economic challenges, such as racism, segregation, and poverty. During our Intro to Theatre class, I watched the NBC production of The Wiz which was a live broadcasted musical from the story book adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. For a four-day period, we discovered the adventures of our teenage protagonist named Dorothy, who was whisked into the magical world of Oz. Along with a Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion, Dorothy and the gang go through Oz to seek the magical Wiz to get Dorothy back home to her farm in Kansas. On her journey, she learns the true meaning of love, courage, and what home really means to her. As an overall musical, The Wiz brought a compelling note recreating a classic story and twisting it into a musical with a unique cast, delightful costumes, and melodious songs. Bell is a sheriff of Terrell County, Texas who struggles with accepting the changes of the ever-evolving landscape of American society. The story begins when a veteran, Llewelyn Moss, becomes involved with cartels located in his town during the 1980s. After he flees his home, he creates a ripple of chaos, including murder and theft. Sheriff Bell feels a moral responsibility for letting things get out of hand so he follows up on the case, even traveling hours away to investigate, ultimately leading to his failure in the case and his retirement.
