Studies have shown that work-family conflict has been linked to physical and mental health risks, diminished performance of employee and parenting roles in women, absenteeism, turnover, and reduced life satisfaction which leads to an estimated two thirds of highly qualified women leaving workforce or being underemployed. Moreover, the importance of work, study, and family roles of women and how they combine them all to get a thorough understanding of their expectations are discussed.
