There are various songs that relate to what the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury indicates. These five songs that I have chosen either have to do with burning books, making your own decisions, or following your heart to make a choice on what is right.
My first choice song goes by the name of “Books are Burning” by XTC. It relates to the story because in the song it mainly speaks about books burning. A certain line from the song states that “where they burn books, people are next.” It conveys that people are nothing without books and wouldn’t even have a small amount of learning and knowledge without them. We [people] need books and need to hold them sacred because they give us what we need to continue with our daily lives (“Fahrenheit 451: Songs Playlist”). Eventually, people will become unnoticeable and won’t be able to think for themselves by getting rid of books that contains all of the essentials people need gain all of the knowledge individuals need to possess.

In the song it also talks about not wanting to be lied to, or tricked.
