Throughout history and all the time humans have roamed around this domain, people have mused on how the actions we acquire today can impact the future generations. Ray Bradbury, the author of Fahrenheit 451, introduces and explores a perceptive story in society emerging in simple mindedness. He proposes his vision of technology leading to a world of no individual thoughts or actions and reflects it in a way similar to no other. Not only that, Bradbury displays witty literature and utilizes peculiar approaches of exhibiting how the present may link with the book in indirect writing. In the book, Captain Beatty gives a speech to the protagonist saying and describing how education changes in a negative way however benefits them because people’s ignorance grows and thus people don’t question the system. Fahrenheit 451 writes, “School is shortened discipline relaxed, philosophies, histories, language dropped, English and spelling gradually neglected, finally almost completely ignored… Not everyone born free and equal, as the Constitution says, but everyone made equal. Each man the image of every other; then all are happy, for there are no mountains to make them cower, to judge themselves against.” With education, smart people stand out and introduce differences, people grow hurt, sad, or angry; however, with education becoming less challenging and becoming more focused on existing easily rather than difficult, everyone grew the same and thus thought that they felt happiness. Today, although many of people possess the ability to challenge themselves and grow with knowledge, not everyone does and plentiful even risk their lives to head to school everyday throughout the world, similar to how plentiful of characters in Fahrenheit 451 risked their own to simply read literature; however, they both know that it benefits them in aspects in society with intelligence. Malala Yousafzai, for example, risked her own life similar to many others for the significance of education by merely speaking her mind heading towards school everyday. During a Youth Takeover Event, Malala even said, “The terrorists thought that they would change our aims and stop our ambitions, but nothing changed in my life except this: weakness, fear, and hopelessness died; strength, power, and courage was born.” Therefore, not only do both try to change the world of education, yet, with this quotations, it shows familiar characteristics between the character Montag and a real life human; how, in a
