Success If you had 10 people in a room and asked every single one of them what success is to them, I can guarantee that not all 10 responses will be the same. what success is for you may not be success for other people, and the other way around. For most people it is something they strive for; that feeling you get when you accomplish a set goal. There are hundreds of books that promise to teach you how to be a successful person with 7 easy steps or however many reasons the author may claim but really, what is success? What separates a successful person from ordinary people? Success is reaching the goals that you have set for yourself, any kind of goals: professional, educational, monetary, family, marriage, business, employment, etc. It's
following through with your aspirations and dreams, even if you don't get to the "top", you've worked hard to succeed. There is no absolute success. Success is always relative: Unfortunately, the media, traditions and your own culture may put tremendous pressure and make people believe that success is absolute and that is is defined from monetary or professional points of view only. Again, success is a relative concept, not absolute. for some it may mean accomplishing a small goal or overcoming a difficult obstacle. Other people may view success as long the result of long term goals , they may be thinking five to ten years in the future; getting their Bachelor’s of Science or finally having enough experience with their internship to start their career full time. For materialistic people it may be making sure their bank account has enough digits to look like a phone number, or having power and authority over those who surround them. Success begins with you. there is no way you can be successful if you do not have the mindset to be successful. The idea of success can drive people, it can motivate them to persevere and to never give up on what is important to them. being successful can mean having money, having love and happiness. HOW IS IT USED HOOWWWW DIME COMO PORFA What some people fail to realize is that success is not given to you on a silver platter, it is something that you work tirelessly for. They expect success to be a one way road with little to no complications, the reality is that successful people fail numerous times, but that is what separates successful people from typical people. Successful people take failures as learning experiences and use them to grow. Success is not something that can be easily obtained, it takes time, patience, failure, and effort. It’s making the best of what you have and always moving forward with a goal in mind in those areas you would like to be successful in. To me success is a concept that should only be personal. No one has the right to determine what success should be for you. Of course, when you live a world that is dominated by the media, by the power, by the money, then you tend to believe that you have to achieve what other people achieve to be successful. In terms of money for example, one could say that you could only be successful if you get rich, but then, how much money do you have to have to be successful? Success has to do with how you feel about your accomplishments, not how others see you; setting goals for yourself and doing your best to meet those goals. The best advice I have received in my life is to make your own definition of success. Stick to it and try to reach it so you become a successful person. Of course, try to make your goals ambitious. Simple goals like getting up early in the morning or doing your homework everyday may not be too difficult to achieve so you may be a successful person but then most of the people with the same goals are successful too. Try to make your goals unique and relatively hard to achieve, so you stand out from the rest. That makes you successful
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
There is no concrete definition for success, and there is not a foolproof way to obtain it, but it is something many strive for. In Outliers: The Story of Success, Malcolm Gladwell explains, with examples of successful people throughout history, that hard work along with a little bit of luck and willingness to seize every opportunity is the only way to become successful. Malcolm Gladwell illustrates throughout the story external factors that are mostly uncontrollable and internal factors like hard work that are very controllable lead to these outliers and unimaginable success stories.
The definition of success can be different for everyone based on how they view the word. To me, success is doing all you can do to try to come out on top. A scenario of this would be during a basketball, your team is down by 12 points, everyone is running the fastest they can, shooting as accurate as they can, and supporting one another as much as they can.

To me success is knowing that I didn't just meet my goal, I overachieved my goal. If I don't meet my goals, that's fine. All I need is to try my hardest and give it my all and I will be fulfilled. Reaching your goals is important but It is very necessary to sit down and think about other stuff like, what you value or what is important to you. The most important things to me is my family, friends, health and education. I also value achievement, adventure, happiness and knowledge. In total with your view of accomplishment and success in mind, you can succeed and reach your goals.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
What is success? According to the dictionary, it is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, but theres much more to the word than just this simple phrase. As Eric Thomas—the American motivational speaker, author, and minister—once said “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful”. The idea of what success can bring, has motivated people throughout history to take risks and follow their dreams, no matter what the consequence is. Although achieving a long term goal or accomplishing an idea can be great, sometimes a person can lose themselves or hurt others around them during the process.
Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”
Success is a term used by almost every individual person on this green and blue planet that we call Earth. Whether it is parents, college professors, teachers, bosses, co-workers, and inspirational speakers, they all apply this word to everyday life, however what does it truly mean? Success is a noun that, by definition, stands for “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.” Although this is the official definition, society has a different definition for the phrase success. Society has defined the phrase success as being wealthy, having quite a few material items, having a stable well-paying job, and a healthy family as a side bonus. There are members of society
'One has achieved success who has lived well and laughed often.'; This quote seems to sum up what is meant by success. If you are able to laugh often and much then you have definitely achieved happiness. The idea of living well, though, is a very broad statement. In order, then, to define success in relation to this statement, we must first define what it means to live well. There are three levels of success, in my opinion: societal success, personal success, and academic or professional success. If someone can achieve all of these three levels of success, they are someone who has lived well.
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed
To me success is when you accomplish goals and are happy with your life. One of my goals it to have a good job and eventually have a family. For right now I think the biggest thing I want to accomplish is getting a new car. Accomplishing my goals is important to me. The first goal I would like to accomplish is getting a new car.
The true definition of success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Although, many people have different perceptions of success. Success is judged by the individuals themselves. Success can be defined in many ways including: wealth, happiness, fame, etc. Success can be anything from material goods to concepts. It all depends on your concept and how you achieve your goals. You have to have persistence within yourself. Varying on your profession, you will need a certain skill level. Your definition of success can be suitable best for you, but not for others. It is about truly not giving up, reaching your full potential, and self-fulfillment.
Success, by definition, it means to achieve a goal or purpose. To some, success might be popularity, or even getting a raise at their job; but to me, success is more about how you live. At first this statement might confuse a person, but then if one digs deeper into this response they’ll find something greater. This “something greater” is certainly not anything materialistic, rather someone’s spiritual faith and their happiness in what they do.
Success takes many different definitions. People have different interpretations of what success really means. For me is as simple as: living well and laughing often. The idea of living well is a very broad statement. Living well, in my opinion is getting success in personal, social and professional life. If I can achieve all of these three levels of success, I believe that I have lived well.
