Exploring Orlando's Vacation

Vacation When given the opportunity to go on a vacation, there are two places that come to mind. I would like to go to Orlando, Florida or Washington D.C. Deciding which vacation I want to go on is harder than it seems. I would greatly enjoy a trip to both Orlando and Washington D.C., but it is not always that simple, you also have to factor in the costs of the hotel, food, excursions, etc. A trip to Orlando would be exhilarating because of the many theme parks located around the city. The many theme parks scattered around Orlando make it a great place to vacation, however it is extremely expensive. While in Orlando, I will go to Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. Instead of going to a boring museum in Washington, I could go to numerous theme parks and meet fun and interesting people. Also I am a big Harry Potter fan so a trip to Universal Studios would be exhilarating. It would feel like i am actually at Hogwarts. I also love roller coasters and every park has some of the greatest roller coasters in the country. Expedition Everest is one of the highest roller coasters in the world and the Rockin Roller Coaster is one of the fastest. Both of these are in Orlando and I will be riding them as many chances as I get. Going to Washington D.C. would also be a great vacation because of the many historical sights and museums. In Washington I could visit the Smithsonian museum and many of the famous monuments scattered around Washington. A trip to Washington could teach me a great deal about our great nation’s history. I could go to Arlington Cemetery and watch the changing of the guards at the unknown soldiers tomb. Going to a Washington Nationals baseball game would also be pretty exciting. There are many fun things to do in Washington, but I couldn’t see myself having fun in Washington by myself. That’s why I think a trip to Orlando would be more
