There are many factors that have helped us as humans progress over time. Debatably the most important part of our society is education. When it comes to education, what we all want is for students to receive the best schooling available to them. To achieve an ideal scenario, we must first reexamine the system currently in place. Doing this we can them decide if it’s accomplishing what it was set up for in the first place. To reevaluate something as advanced as the schooling system we have to ask “what is the purpose of the schooling system and are we doing our absolute best to achieve that?”, when looking at the big picture overall the purpose is to educate and help students prepare for life. At this point you will combine all the knowledge from the years before and learn to apply it into the real world. Here is where we start to implement more economic and adult based knowledge. Though some high schools cover some of this information in classes, these classes should be mandatory to teach students how to be mature successful adults.

The second phase is the addition of career oriented classes at the high school level of education. Unlike the first phase this step will be oriented on career/job based skills. These classes would be optional but should be available for students to be able to take vocational courses. Classes like these would help students not only become prepared for the field they wish to enter but gives them experience in that field as well.

Getting experience in these classes before college is a great opportunity. Students get to test out classes they may or may not like and get a better understanding for different career paths. If a student does find a career path they are interested in they will have the ability to take many classes in that field and gain knowledge on that topic. Some classes could even offer certifications in that field to help students get a job or apply for a
