Throughout my childhood, many individuals posed that infamous question: “So, what are you going to be when you grow up?” during my childhood, the answer always came quickly and with assertion: “I want to An Accountant”. One the main reasons why I would like to be an Accountant is because I love and understand the logic behind numbers. I remember always loving numbers, but it was not until I went on a school field trip while I was in elementary school that I made my final decision to either work at a bank or be an Accountant. The Jared E. McEachern Scholarship is vital to my college career due to my decision to attend Anderson University. Anderson University is a private school that costs nearly thirty- six thousand dollars to attend per year. It is imperative that I apply for as many scholarships as possible in hopes of reaching my goal of receiving at least half of my tuition. My parents are very supportive and willing to help in any way they can; however, I genuinely do not want to cause them any stress when it comes to paying for college.

I need this scholarship to achieve my goals and most importantly to make my family proud. My family did not get this chance that you are giving me so I am not just doing this for me, I am also doing this for them. I already have all the support from all of my family and all of my friends, but that alone is not enough to conquer my dreams, and to prove all the people that have doubted me that they were wrong. I hope that this organization can help me reach my goals, and to most importantly make them become a reality. With all of the downfalls that I have experienced in my academic and personal life, a college education will make it possible for me to continue my journey into becoming a prestigious corporate lawyer. I have the drive for success and I am certain that with this scholarship I will be able to pay off my debt and help my mother with her own educational goals. I was content that I was able to encourage her to attend school and I am most fortunate to be given an opportunity to help both her and myself achieve our ultimate goals for the near future.
My passion for public service initiated in my third grade reading class. It was there that I volunteered for “Reading Together USA”, a program to help younger children learn to read. The joy and delight that I felt from witnessing my students’ progress was unprecedented to any feeling that I ever felt before, and I knew from that point forward that my life would be committed to serving the public. Although my forms (TRYING TO SAY WAYS LIKE 1st pre-med then law) of serving others may have changed, the trend of service has remained constant through high school, college, and even my career.
I am applying for this scholarship to help me pay for college. As everyone knows it is very expensive and sometimes hard to pay for all the things involved. My family is doing everything they can to help pay for my college. One of the biggest obstacles we have faced is applying for the FAFSA. My parents do make a lot of money, but they both have student loans they have to pay. My mom has two majors so she has a lot of money to pay back to school. While applying to FAFSA, these factors are not taken into consideration so we did not get as much money as we had hoped. If I am selected to win this scholarship, it would be greatly appreciated and would help me in many ways to continue my education.
The ultimate reason I deserve this scholarship is because I won’t disappoint you. I am very hardworking and I like to take on challenges. Getting this scholarship would help me achieve my dream.

For this current academic school year, I received a nursing legacy scholarship, as well as a scholarship from the Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation. However, I did not receive enough to help pay for anything other than tuition. Books and room and board are being paid out of pocket, and because this school year in the nursing program is so strenuous, it is hard for me to work enough hours to pay for such things and then have the funds for other necessities such as food. Both of my parents are also going to school full time, and I have two younger siblings at home. My parents help me as much as they can, but given the circumstances I am currently trying to juggle around school, work, extracurricular activities, and other essential
The Partners for Pearland scholarship would have a ginormous impact on my education. My Mother and Father are currently separated and I live with my Father. If I receive this scholarship it will lift some of the weight off of my shoulders and also my father’s shoulders. My mother will also try to help with school payments but she doesn’t keep a job very well. I will depend on my job and I there is no other way then I will have no choice but to take out student loans. That is the last thing I want to do. I know I am probably not as qualified as most of
