Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “actions speak louder than words.” I agree with that statement because when someone says they will do something it doesn’t mean that they actually will. I think that too many people make promises they know they won’t keep. Growing up I would have people I come and tell me they would do something and here 7 or 8 years later it still hasn’t happened. I think that after a while the kid will forget about what they were told but it still doesn’t take away from the disappointment when they realize that it won’t be happening.
Nobody is perfect and as we move forward in this era of self-knowledge and self-discovery, it is vital to acquire the ability to recognize our own mistakes. We all do some mistakes at some point of our lives which hurt another person. The difference lies acknowledging that we have done something wrong, some acknowledge immediately and some take time.
