My social health is my strongest area of wellness for several reasons like i have close friends that i can talk to and trust but i could work on talking to my close friends about stuff more often. Furthermore, being able to talk to my friends about my problems will make my emotional health much better because i will have friends to have my back and rant or talk to. Another example can be found in that i can tell my friends no if they are trying to tell my to do harmful things like help them bully a kid etc. In addition, people are able to trust me and tell me about what is going on in their life and about they're problems because i am a good friend and i wouldn't make them tell me anything if they were to uncomfortable to talk about it. In my opinion this is one of the wellness act that i should work because i should feel better about talking to my friends and i also have a good family that loves and supports me i also accept my self for who i am but i could also work on expressing my feelings clearly and calmly to my friends and family. I feel best about being able to talk to my family because they support me and love me for who i am and they dont judge me. Some stuff i can work on is expressing my feelings clearly and calmly because if i cant tell anyone anything i cant be emotionally sound. is one of my strongest spots of wellness because i feel that i can take just about with my emotions with friendships being lost to breakups etc. My social health is one of my strongest and weakest healths i am good with my freinds and family but sometimes i can find my self in a hole that is hard to get out of. I feel the best about haveing a couple close friends and being able to talk to them. One example of a strength I am a good listener and i can be able to listen and not get myself in trouble for not listening . Furthermore, i can say no to my friends if they ask me to do a harmful thing like hitting people of sending bad pictures. In conclusion i feel my soical health is my strongest health because i have everything friends and family that can support me i can say no. My 30 day challenge is not drinking soda because it cuts out a sugary diet. This will help my physical health because they're is less sugar going in my body if i cut out soda/sugary drinks. This will also help my emotional health on how i feel about my self i will feel better because i wont be thinking about how much weight in gaining. This will help my mental health because i will be thinking straiter and going to bed sooner without drinking these fizzy drinks. In conclusion i know this because i did this in. 2017 as my news years resolution and i actualy finished it i didnt drink sods for a whole year and it felt good and it was also good for my body.
The base of my health triangle is my social health because I don’t find any issues in this area of my life. The reason why I think my social health is the strongest health factor for me is because I don’t find it difficult to make new friends and I enjoy being around people a lot. For example, I am currently in Phi Theta Kappa, Student Council, Math Team, Key Club, HOSA and I’m looking forward to joining more clubs in our school. This means that I meet a lot of new people that I need to interact with. Even though there are people who are negative, I can adjust my attitude towards them so I can get to know them and possibly become their friend. After completing the Clifton strength finders test, I learned my dominant strengths and it gave me a sense on what areas I am strong in. It allows you to work in the areas that you are good in and not in the ones you might not be as strong in. My top five strengths were learner, connectedness, belief, positivity, and includer. A lot of these I figured I would have because I am an athlete and I love to be positive. That is good because I practice these strengths every day which in turn will make me better at them and will allow me to use them in my career.
Wellness provides the mind, body, feelings, and spiritual well-being individuals gain in their daily lifestyle. When most individuals in society hear the phrase wellness they assume it is referring to physical wellness. Which is true, but did society know that physical wellness is part of the seven wellnesses that are broken down into extension? Which are known for physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational wellnesses. These seven wellnesses help provide ways for individual to do daily and guide individuals to maintain a good health from inside and out.
My emotional wellness I cope with things that are around me. I usually do not communicate about my feelings. Also I really do not talk about my situations because I feel that my personal situations are not worth being shared to others only because I do not trust people easily. One strength I saw myself, as having when I enter college is being able to understand and critical think about a essay/article that I have read. However, after taking English 101, I have now learned that this is a strength of mine as well as a weakness.

Health is a word that has many different definitions and many ideas of what it truly means. The World Health Organization defines health as "... a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” (Philosophy 335: Biomedical Ethics—Study Guide). Just as the World Health Organization has given their idea of what health is defined as so has every person in the world. I define health very similar to the World Health Organization, that it is not just a physical state, but a mental, spiritual and even nutritional state. I also love to work out and being in shape. Sometimes it get hectic with my work and school schedule but I am learning that every bit counts. Knowing what each of these dimensions of wellness requires can feel overwhelming. However, one should not be discouraged because of what they lack, but look forward to the improvement we are capable of bringing to our own lives. Becoming more spiritual will always be beneficial. Anytime one can improve their relationship with God one can improve their life astronomically. Emotional wellness is possible even for those who have been through horrible experiences. Practicing emotional wellness can bring healing. Physical and nutritional wellness will lead to a longer, pleasanter life and social wellness will make that life worth living. Sharing a well life with family, friends, and God will make time on this earth an irreplaceable experience.
I think a mentally healthy community would be filled with an abundance of resources and opportunities for everyone in need of assistance. Having accessibility to therapists, crisis lines, social services, physical therapy, correctional facilities, affordable health care, affordable housing, and mental hospitals would be a good step towards a mentally healthy community.
My strength that I find I have in my mental and emotional health is my ability to cope with the issue in my life either through seeking help with someone like a friend, my sister, or my mom or by figuring it out myself; I never like to bottle up my problems until the pressure gets the best of me. If I can’t seek the help of others and I feel overwhelmed then writing things down on paper helps me relieve the stress of my problems. One weakness in my mental and emotional health is that I do not always feel great about myself. I overthink the things I have done in the past and get mad at myself for some inconsequence, insignificant, embarrassing event. I have the weakness of not being able to let go of my past mistakes and I hold them over myself which sometimes makes me upset. I need to learn to let go of my past and to not get mad at myself over irrelevant things.
One of my greatest strengths at work that I have recognized would have to be my ability to be a well-organized individual. I tend to write what I have to do down on paper and prioritize what is more important to least important. In doing this, it helps me organize and accomplish my work and meet deadlines that are important. A personal strength that I have at home is patience. I am a mother of a beautiful three year old little girl who is a handful. Patience is my greatest strength as a parent and individual which I possess especially being a single mother. I am a dedicated and hard working mother and I always make sure that my daughter gets the love and attention she needs.
