Would you die for this country? I would put my life on the line for Canada because it creates honour, pride and nationalism amongst its citizens. Sacrificing your life for this country is a noble act in my opinion due to several reasons. Maintaining Canada would mean maintaining a free education system which is part of protecting the resources of this country. Being able to stand up for oneself, express opinions freely and vote makes Canada a great place to live. Soldiers sacrifice their lives to protect the identity and soil of this nation. I would die for this country because I want to serve this nation, preserve the resources and protect the freedom of this country.

opportunity to elect our government and stand up for our beliefs. Freedom is showcased in many countries, but not many people get the chance to experience it. Canada is a diverse country and accepts all religions and ethnicities. To me, freedom means a sense of hope and the ability to make decisions on our own. Both men and women are treated equally and are given the opportunity to pursue their dreams. The Prime Minister of Canada promoted women equality, and he believes that a woman can accomplish whatever she wants to in her life. Coming from a conservative background, I was never given the opportunity to express myself, however living in Canada has opened many doors for me as I pursue my goals without being pressured by societal norms from back home. Due to all the opportunities, one can find in Canada; it is highly favoured by immigrants as it makes them feel close to home. Dying for this country would be worth every wound because of the freedom and rights this country allows to all the citizens. In the time of war, soldiers’ fight, maintain peace and ensure the safety of its citizens. Soldiers sacrifice their lives for the nation to save opportunities, jobs and dreams of other citizens in the country. Soldiers give up their lives for the protection of others. People in military services starve themselves for days without any food supply, proper equipment and manage to survive for this nation. Soldiers are real life superheroes’ for the nation. Serving this nation would be my greatest honour as I want to live a life that is meaningful and has a purpose. Education is a major factor that needs to be well maintained for the future generation as they hold our future and have the power to initiate positive change.
Lack of education will lead to destruction, so I see it as my duty to save Canada’s future by making sure each child has the right to education. I would die for the betterment of education because education is the first step to gaining knowledge about the world. Most countries do not have the privilege to have teachers, desks and proper maintenance to educate the future generation. Women in different countries are often discriminated against as they live in a place where education is not valued for girls. Women can bring positive change into this world and can help other girls struggling with the bias of women not allowed to go to school or something along those lines. To pursue education everyone must have the right and sacrifices need to be made. Sacrificing your life for education is essential because the future is dependent on the next

Since 1914, Canadian Human Rights laws have had a positive impact on helping to shape Canadian identity as one that is welcoming to various minority groups. Being a Canadian citizen provides you with the freedoms to travel, and settle in Canada at your own will and desire. Also, the freedom to express your sexual orientation is welcomed and well supported in many communities. Modern discrimination against categorizing human beings is very slim and everyone of all ethnic or cultural backgrounds are welcome with respect and good intentions. Canada is an extremely welcoming and protective place, in which nearly everything is done to promote equality, and a safe country.
Canada has become a superior nation thru, perseverance, courage and even care as they persevered thru many dark battles, and made sure they all came thru together as a unit other than individuals. Their courage made there fighting 100% stronger as they wouldn’t back down to any task and they weren’t afraid to lose their life to help a fellow friend and country out. Care played a major aspect in each Canadian heart. There cared about Britain so they weren’t to go help them when they declared war, they helped other troops with their emotional problems and lastly they even cared a little about there enemies as they are the same person, however the only thing separating them is there culture. Canadians contributed in many ways to help our country's great efforts in the First World War.
Lastly, the CRF allows people to express their values and beliefs through media and have the freedom of thinking. In other parts of the world, people live in fear to speak out the thoughts because of the punishments they might receive. In Canada, however, people are allowed to protest peacefully with measures to protect the security of the country. This allows for a more open society and moves Canada forward.

In conclusion I have explained in detail the 3 main reasons why Canada is a good peacekeeper. I showed my knowledge through researching Canada’s daily participation, the financing they put in this force, and the future of Peacekeeping as it continues to grow. Canada puts a lot of effort, money, and time into being peacekeepers. This force is something to look forward to! As a Canadian it is setting an amazing reputation on our country and making the world a better place. Without Canada’s help the peace of today and the future wouldn’t be the same. Having Canada as a Peacekeeper is making the world become a much more peaceful and safe place for everybody.
...ghts and Freedoms’ allow their citizens to possess fundamental freedoms, democratic rights, mobility rights, legal rights, and equality rights. Fundamental freedoms allow residents to express who they are and to develop as human beings. Democratic rights allow individuals to voice their opinions to the government and mobility rights allow society to freely immigrate and emigrate to and from Canada. Legal rights protect the people of the nation by having laws that keep them safe along with the equality rights, which protect citizenry from discrimination allowing them to life without fear of inequality. Thus, supplying them with positive and negative liberties that make Canada such a successful political community compared to the various nations that lack these rights and freedoms and cause a state of societal issues to be placed on the political community as a result.
Canada is known by outsiders to be a very peaceful country. But if you ask any Canadian, they will tell you that is unfortunately not the case. There is a large ongoing conflict between Canadians. The conflict is between the French and the English, or more specifically between Quebec and the rest of Canada. As a result of this conflict, along with some wrongdoing and propaganda.

This is once again a large contributor to why Canadians should be proud of Canada, one point that proves that the Canadian charter of human rights contributes toward this is the fact that the rights allow freedom. The charter of rights states, “Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:(a) freedom of conscience and religion; (b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication; (c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and d) freedom of association.” This specific right allows Canadians to do many things like allowing them to express themselves freely. The next reason that proves that the Canadian charter of rights is something Canadians should be proud is the fact that the rights allow right justice to all Canadians. It is stated right in the charter of rights that, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.” For Canadians to be guaranteed the right to justice is something that should be basic rights for all humans, however not all are that lucky and for that reason Canadians should be proud of this. The last reason that proves that the Canadian charter of rights is something Canadians should be proud is the matter that all rights are equal for all
Everywhere around us is our heritage. Our government, language, customs and habits, music, books and a wide variety of scientific inventions are gifts to us from our ancestors who lived in Canada. But, the influence of our heritage has been shaped by the influence of United States and many other nations. The histories of these nations have helped us become the country that it is today. Everyone living in Canada is lucky to have a great country, without many problems. I think, it is not hard to say that everyone is proud Canadian.
Aside from our activities outside the country, we are also one of the best countries to live in. We have one of the top 5 life expectancies for both men and women. We also have the longest expected education according to the UN’s stats. These are just a few reasons why Canada is the greatest country.
Becoming educated we earn the right to make changes and to be heard. I am proud to be a part of culture that has come from Warriors. We are natural fighters and have the ability to become powerful in a positive way. By helping and supporting each other anything is possible, even saving my home, La Mission.
If I believed in the social conflict perspective, my views on the reasons why Canada would participate in the war in Afghanistan would be that the basic human rights of Afghan women are being violated, lives of Afghan citizens and insurgents are being sacrificed for the betterment of living conditions. In order for the people of Afghanistan to live better lives, the higher income nations such as Canada and the United States need to intervene. However, there is a human and economic cost to achieve this goal. With any war, there will be casualties of war due to friendly fire and missiles that miss their intended targets.
All children in Canada have rights. They have educational rights, health care rights, the right to be happy, to be understood and the right to reach their potential. In order to reach their full potential, they have to be fed, taken care of by their family, treated fairly and be respected for who they are. We are lucky to live in Canada and have all these rights.
