Expelled from School
I was about to leave my algebra class one day when the teacher asked me
a question. "Could you do help me out with my rollbook program?" he asked. "Sure,
how can I help?" I replied. "I'm not sure about how to save back-up copies of my
work. Could you show me how?" he said.
At this moment, I realized the scope of his question. I would be able to
acess the grades for all of his classes. "Ok, Where are your disks?" I answered.
"Right here. I really appreciate this." he said. I began to show him how to copy
files from one disk to another. He thanked me and sent me on my way.
A few days later he asked me to show him how to do it again, because he
forgot. When I began to demonstrate this to him, several of the other students
noticed and began to talk quietly amongst themselves. Later that day, at lunch
time, I was approached by some of the other students in my class.
"Hey, could you help us change our grades in algebra?" They asked. "I
dont know... I might get caught..." I answered reluctantly. "Aww... come on....
what are you, chicken?" they taunted. "We'll pay you...."
At that moment I began to think. I could not believe what I was hearing.
I could get paid for something very simple. "Alright. I'll do it. What were your
last names again?" I said.
The next day my algebra teacher got me to help him out with his rollbook
program. When he was not paying attention, I began to change their grades from
F's to A's. Later on that day one of studens approached me.
"Hey, did you do it?" he asked. "Yes, and I expect to be paid in full."
I replied. "Dope!!! alright, Here's my money. I'll get the others to pay you
next time they see you."
I began to become very popular among my peers. They began to treat me
like a god with a magical power. I began to change the grades of students in my
teachers other classes. Word spread quickly and I became very rich.
Milholland. The woman that hit me most was Inez Milholland. She sacrificed the most in the movie, her life. When I looked back on it the people who were against women’s rights didn’t want a martyr to inspire people but Inez was a martyr. Knowing that she was no longer in good health and dying slowly she continued with her crusade to get what she felt was hers and died doing it. I respect her because she died for and with a purpose.
In the epic poem, The Odyssey, Odysseus’ heroic deeds are recounted through a narrative, written by Homer, that describes his arduous journey of his return from the Trojan war to his homeland of Ithaca. Loyalty, patience, and determination, are necessary traits to survive the perilous, painstaking journey that Odysseus embarks upon to return to his native land. Loyalty is exhibited when Odysseus goes to rescue his crewmen on Kirke’s Island despite the probability of jeopardizing his own life. Odysseus presents patience throughout the entirety of his journey, but most specifically when his crew opens the bag of wind, which causes much regression on the embark homeward. Determination is displayed when Odysseus is on Calypso’s island.
Vengeance is the main theme in the Odyssey, it is what all the conflict in the story is for

In conclusion, the revenge of Odysseus on the suitors and the people involved in their evil endeavors, was justified. Odysseus showed himself to be merciful to those who had not betrayed him and his family. Those such as the minstrel, who was a victim, Eumaeus, and Eurycleia were appreciated and rewarded
At first, Odysseus and twelve others ventured into the home of the cyclops. They found that the cyclops was not there, so they feasted on the foods inside the cave. Soon, the Cyclops did return and asked the crew, “Who are you? And Where from? What brings you here by seaways- a fair traffic? Or are you wandering Rogues, who cast your lives like dice, and ravage other folk by sea?” (The Odyssey 988). The group replied the honest answers, trying to convince the cyclops that he was to honor them. This did not work and the cyclops decided to eat a few of Odysseus’s men. Then they offered the Cyclops some wine. As he drank, he got drunk enough to pass out. With this, Odysseus ordered a large spike to injure the cyclops. As they executed the plan to injure the cyclops, he opened the cave to cry for help from his brothers. He cried, “Nohbdy’s tricked me, Nohbdy’s ruined me!” (The Odyssey 993). His other brother’s left in laughter while Odysseus and his men ran quickly back to the ship and started to set sail. He learned that abusing power can lead to serious

The Odyssey, an epic written by Homer, describes the journey the hero Odysseus went on to find his way back to his wife, Penelope. It follows an episodic nature, describing scenario after scenario for that which he triumphs over, being described as a good leader. However, this is not the case. Odysseus is not the great leader he makes himself out to be throughout the story. He can in fact, be better described as a poor leader, being selfish, boastful, and careless. Odysseus illustrates himself as selfish, choosing to steal the humiliated cyclops’ sheep. Odysseus explains, “With many glances back, we rounded up his fat, stiff-legged sheep to take aboard, and drove them down to where the good ship lay”(The Cyclops. 463-465). Odysseus, adding
...e, my 6th grade teacher taught us how to learn fractions by using pancakes! Withouth that I would have never have understood the concept.
The Odyssey is an epic by Homer about a character named Odysseus and the story of his journey back home. Odysseus performs actions and exhibits qualities of which call into question his sense of reality and intelligence. Odysseus is easily characterized as a bumbling incompetent. He demonstrates a lack of closure and recklessness that from time to time again has put him and his men in potentially fatal situations. Upon evasion of the Cyclops, Odysseus yells back of his success and honor, only for the Cyclops to hurl a boulder towards him, delaying their escape and diminishing their odds of survival (¨The Cyclops¨. ###). If Odysseus was to leave the island quickly and silently, he would have avoided any odds of losing men or death on his own
I walked up the long, stone stairs of Hidden Oaks Middle School. Middle school students were walking up the stairs alongside me and talking with each other. I joined this math club because I wanted to fit in and make new friends. We opened the doors and walked through the long hall filled with posters and works of students. We walked into Mrs. Janasky’s room. I sat down next to my sister and talked with her. The teacher handed us a piece of paper covered in math problems.
“Class,” I announced, “today I will teach you a simpler method to find the greatest common factor and the least common multiple of a set of numbers.” In fifth grade, my teacher asked if anyone had any other methods to find the greatest common factor of two numbers. I volunteered, and soon the entire class, and teacher, was using my method to solve problems. Teaching my class as a fifth grader inspired me to teach others how important math and science is. These days, I enjoy helping my friends with their math homework, knowing that I am helping them understand the concept and improve their grades.
Have you ever had a math teacher that sent you across the hall to get help from
