Someone who leads by example leads through their actions and their effort. Leading by example has to do with that person's attitude. Their attitude towards an obstacle, another person, or even themselves. The attitude a leader has towards an obstacle with show whether they will get over the obstacle. If this person takes on the obstacle with a positive attitude and lots of effort to get over the obstacle and be successful, then that person shows the ability to lead.
