Through a wide variety of product offerings including: personal training, nutritional counseling, and behavioral modification counseling as well as group cooking, fitness, and healthy living classes we offer a full-service experience to our members. Our fitness and wellness center is intended to be a place where everyone wants to go and bring friends, family and co-workers. We provide state-of-the art equipment, personal training, access to registered dieticians, and a behavioral sport psychologist who aide in our development of new training methods and skills.
We will maintain professional relationships with clients and co-workers. That means that we will not ask clients and/or co-workers out during regular working hours. We will avoid sexually explicit behavior and inappropriate physical contact. Our staff, particularly our trainers, will maintain positive trainer-client relationships. Over the last 8 years I have been in the positions to learn many different skills and ways of approaching various situations. My interest in as an Exercise Physiologist intern with Henry Ford Health Systems I assisted in cardiac rehabilitation and exercise stress testing in addition to providing patients' education for proper physical activity and event lifestyle modification as a weight management consultant. Since finishing the internship I have been a practicing personal trainer since 2007 working with many types of clients from the everyday working mother keeping in shape to the athlete trying to reach the next level of competition. When I started studying health and nutrition in September 2014, my goals were, to find out the proper foods that a person should consume to lose weight and to find out what type of workouts burn the most fat. In October, 2014, I volunteered to become a fitness instructor at a Herbalife fit camp, where I helped lead out workouts for my local community. My objective was to help out the personal trainers that ran the camp wherever they needed the help at and to learn more about the proper nutrition choices that they offered to the community.
Fitness trainers deal with many clients each day and each one had different strengths and weaknesses that have to be taken into consideration while planning the class and the routines. They watch for techniques and make workouts based on what people need to improve. By planning and choreographing their own workout and routines, the trainer is more enable to help anyone in need of assistance. Depending on the instructor, he or she may even choose or create their own music for the workout or routine. Some may prefer to use pre-choreographed routines created by other people. Before jumping into any kind of workout, the trainer will most likely demonstrate the exercises that the clients will be required to do. Alternative exercises may be provided for those who cannot keep up or have the skills to do what everyone else is doing. Throughout the classes, the trainer will also monitor the progress that each person makes and base later classes and routines off of how far each person has come. Other than workouts and routines, fitness trainers also help their clients to make better nutritional decisions as well. This may be as simple as planning diets or things to do outside of class. It’s a fitness trainer’s job to give their clients informations and tips on weight loss and lifestyle issues. “They must explain and enforce the safety rules and regulations of the work they will be doing, for the sake of the client’s well-being” (Sports). Because of fitness training being somewhat dangerous, the trainer must take safety precautions as well. Prior launching this fitness center, several market research should be conducted, namely depth interviews and conjoint analysis. Performing a depth interview is a viable way to get information as the interviewee does not get spoiled if they were heard information regarding the same question from other people. Observer the leader of weight lifting session was a very good experience for the trainees. The training session was based on the weight lifting workout, which turned out to be a good active activity with much interest and learning for the trainees. The trainer who was training them was a very humble and gentle person who was training them in a way that I personally really admire. She had a very gentle and polite tone because she knew that the trainees were new to the session so they need some extra hard work to learn the skills effectively. At times I found her to be a little harsh in speech when some of other trainees were unable to person the exercise well. The best part, which I found about her, was that
