Throughout act V of Macbeth William Shakespeare displays different examples of justice. Justice is a quality of being fair, reasonable, or honest. It is the administration of law or punishment to maintain peace and equity. Justice is helped by truth and fairness. In act V of the play Macbeth, William Shakespeare shows the justice of Macbeth's murder.

In act V of the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare justice was brought upon Macbeth and he was finally killed. At the end of the play, Macduff dueled Macbeth. ¨Behold where stands th’ usurper´s cursèd head. The time is free” (Shakespeare, V, viii, 65-66). Some of these people include King Duncan, Banquo, Macduff's entire family, and young Siward. However, Macbeth did not deserve to die. He was influenced by the people around him, he was not a bad person. At the beginning of the play, the three witches told Macbeth a prophecy about him. ¨All hail Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!” (Shakespeare, I, iii, 53). They told Macbeth that he would become king. Had it not been for this prophecy, Macbeth would not have gotten the idea that he could become king. If not for the witches, he would not have murdered Duncan and would not have become king. Another person who influenced Macbeth was Lady Macbeth. Lady Macbeth talked with Macbeth and they agreed that they would kill Duncan so Macbeth could become king. But then, after thinking about what they were going to do, Macbeth refused to go any further. “When you durst do it, then you were a man; and to be more than what you were, you would be so much more the man” (Shakespeare, I, vii, 56-57).
