Dear Mrs. Mjaes,
I am pleased to present this internship report “TNT Internship Report”, which has been carried out as a requirement of the course BAD 481. This training program has been prepared after a 120 hours working period at TNT Sin El Fil.
This short period of time increased my knowledge about the major role and functions of TNT which made me prepare this report with great satisfaction and enthusiasm. I was able to learn so much how the system of the company works (filing, billing, tracking…).
Working on this report was a pleasure to me, as well as gaining some real life lessons and knowing with better skill how logistics companies work in Lebanon. I, however, also did my best to complete the training program in the best way I know how. I am thankful for having the opportunity to submit my report to you.
Thank You
Christel Harb

Second, team members must appreciate one another’s perspectives and refrain from blaming one another for problems they may encounter. Before Jimenez’s team-based productivity project, the engineers and the operations workers at the Wichita site neither understood nor appreciated the other side’s contributions. Jimenez and Keller set up the monthly meetings to discuss problems and resolve them. That was an excellent mechanism for providing information on the different contributions and challenges of the various camps. Moreover, their active intervention during those meetings helped stop the blaming. Finally team members must create shared views of problems and shared approaches for resolving them. Those commonalities must be acceptable to everyone if they are to provide the core for new ways of doing things. The monthly problem chats represented the beginning of process if developing acceptable approaches. The company softball games provided a powerful way for the brains and the brawn to develop a shared picture if their plant and its goals, as well as to get to know individuals from the other side and to appreciate their perspectives.
In 2015; I have realized that I didn't want to go to Camp Suisse. But, the camp director “Richard Young” contacted me and sent me a contract to work in the camp. I was overwhelmed with joy and pride; as I was the first Arabian employee in this camp since it was established in 2006. I started working from 2015

... be careful who you intern for. Some companies take advantage of interns and make then do the most menial, tedious tasks that will barely enhance their skills. Many interns come out from the experience feeling frustrated and as though they haven’t gained any valuable skills. They get trapped in one department and their exposure to the company overall is limited.
I have been hired in the international division of Multination Corporation on Kuwait. I was assigned to a country called Kuwait. My company is considering building a factory. The assignment was to recommend or not recommend building in Kuwait. There are issues that need to be considered upon entering Kuwait and my research will outline these issues.
The transportation & logistics industry is a form of industry that keeps people and products on the move, it includes airlines and airports, shipping companies, logistics service providers and other transportation companies. That’s why it is considered the backbone of modern global supply chains. In a place like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that has diverse geography with a dry desert and great temperature extremes and a large area of about 2.1 million square km, a transportation & logistics industry is a necessity. Imagine you need to move from one city to another (of course it will be so hard to cross large areas of empty deserts) you have only two options to transfer from one to another city; the first option is to drive and the second option is to fly and ship your car via a car transport carrier. The harsh climate in Saudi Arabia makes people to prefer using the second option, this cause the market of transport market to enlarge. Albassami International Group is one of the biggest companies established to satisfy those needs. It is considered one of the biggest companies specialized in vehicle transportation in the Middle East. The philosophy of the company is to serve the needs of the clients over the span of thirty two years, throughout which they constantly had an eye to the future by evaluating the most appropriate ways in which to make transporting clients’ vehicles via the best and safest answer. They operate round the clock to serve clients at all times.

Throughout my internship, I was well trained and did receive a fruitful experience. The real working environment prepared me for future employment after my graduation. However, I did encounter some problems, which I gradually managed to deal with. Whatever happens, productivity increases by keeping a positive attitude.
