My Personal Value Statement
Moral Values are the the basic part of a human being. Good values make a good and a better person. In this huge world many people are connected to their moral values and as well as cultures. Every human being has their own set of values which they embrace and have a strong bond with them. Just like every other people I Have my own set of values which is most essential part of me and makes me a better person. The Values which are important for me are love, care, and truth.
Firstly, I would like to share my opinion on my own values. I feel there is no power bigger than power to love. Loving people around doesn’t mean to fool around with boys and girls and have fun but to love in a positive way to right people at right time makes things beautiful. Every child love their parents in their childhood but the right time to love them is to keep the affection and care maintained for long time till they are with us and that the only thing parents expect in return. Caring towards are close ones is natural but very few people look after themselves nowadays. Staying positive, eating right and on right time, spending time with good peer group, motivating ourselves and others, these few things helps to take care of ourselves. Truth is like a shield in which you are always protected. If a person walks on the path of truth no one can point a finger at him but that doesn’t mean he/she wont face any consequences. Staying truthful is just like you want to jump in the pool but you don’t want to get wet, but that’s not going to happen people will stop you, people will break you, but it depends on ourselves how well we walk the road and face the challenges. Being truthful sets you free, you don’t have to bother about future n...

Thirdly, I am getting the opportunity to use my values practically in my classroom. Different students from different parts of the world, from different cultures and values will help me to learn more from them and make my path stronger. The best way to workout with my values is my classroom, where I can interact and get to know the right things. If somewhere I am misleading my path then the environment and the good vibes of people around me here is very supporting and I hope it will help me to gain back my path.
I would like to conclude this by saying few words, the moment which I have received here with NYIT will be very helpful for me and would brush up my skills and will make me a better person and as well as a good manger. The best and important values of mine which are love, care and truth will be reaching on to the next level a
Everyone has their own personal values that the gain throughout their lives. Some of these values are passed down through the different generations of their family. Values can change over time and some people learn more values as they grow up. I personally have gained a range of different values in the past eighteen years of my life. My own values include: respect, honesty, empathy and trust. I gained the value of respect through my parents as I was always told to show respect to others and they would then show me respect back. When I was really young I had to respect other people’s things and their feelings. Through my parents I was brought up to believe that it is always better to be honest and tell the truth about everything. I feel that
Every cultures has their own way to define the values. What could be of value in one country could be invaluable in a different country. For example, in Mexico there are places within the same country where the values are measured in different types of ways, such as; in a low-income scenario morality is of great value and in a high-income scenario money and power determine their values of life in a different manor. Everything depends in the social background you are born into that determines how you will live life this term would be called ascribed status” a position an individual either inherits at birth or receives involuntarily later in life”(Henslin, 2015, pg.102).
As human beings, we all have our own personal beliefs values, and attitudes that we developed and embraced throughout the course of our lives and learned from the culture in which we raised. The experiences, social interactions, relationship, family, friends, and community that we have attached with contribute in many different ways to the sense of who we are and to the view, we have about the world in which we live.
Values -Everyone has them. Where do those values come from? In literature, one can find the answer to that question by taking a close look at characters and their values. They can be compatible to real life experiences. Look at the two stories, "Abuela Invents the Zero" by Judith Ortiz Cofer, and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. The main characters in the stories are Constancia from "Abuela Invents the Zero" and the Four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Amy, and Beth from Little Women. These two stories demonstrate how Experiences can shape, and change values.
I have a long list of values that I find very important to me, but there is a few that stand out the most. Those values are family, friendship, hard work, responsibility, respectfulness, independence, equality, and honesty. My personal values are extremely important
Values are a core set of beliefs and principles by one or many. A number of factors contribute to the development of values. These include membership in a community or culture, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. Values determine what is important in decision-making. Ethics involve conduct, the ability to determine right and wrong. All organizations face ethical dilemmas. Organizations develop corporate social responsibility in reaction to the values and expectations of society. Corporate social responsibility initiatives aim to protect public health, safety...
Ethical values are those certain standard or norms that decide what people should and should not do in general. The main characteristics of ethical values are “honesty, integrity, the promise of keeping, fairness, loyalty, respect for others, law abiding, and leadership accountability” (Ethical values) and this list could go on.
Values can affect ones character depending on what trait they pick up rather it’s a negative or positive one. For example, a father makes a promise to his child to take the child to the park. If the father never keeps his promise then every time he makes another promise the child make have lack of trust in their father to keep that promise. Especially there is no good reasoning why the father could not keep the promise. This may be because the father has bad values. Now, if that same father makes the same promises and keeps those promises, the child now believe their father that when he make a promise he does what he says and that build trust. Trust builds character and the father would look upon as having a good value...
I have learned that I am not the amazing communicator I once thought I was. I have many skills to practice and develop to become an effective communicator. Discovering my working style has allowed me to look more closely at my roles in various groups at work and understand why these groups don’t always work. I was also able to take away a better understanding for my learning styles and how to embrace them instead of trying to conform to a more traditional way of learning. These skills will aid me in my quest to be the first person in my family to earn a Bachelor’s degree. I can, and I will
There are so many things that are important to me, but only a few that could greatly affect my life if I didn’t have or accomplish them. The biggest things to me are success, family, and freedom. These are all things that are essential to my life in so many different aspects.
Family is a value that my father taught me. He told me that family is
During everyone 's lifetime, there is always something we hold closest to our hearts; it maybe our principles we live by, values, and even our own beliefs. Values are those things that are very important to us but never really realize how much we actually value them in our life. Have you ever been asked to define three of your main values and rip them up? I have and I never noticed how much they meant to me. Each and every one of us believes in our own personal values. These values are what gives us strength and strive us to do what makes us happy. These values are very important to us and are standards that we live by whether we realize it or not. Everyone has something we value including me. Some of the values I might think highly of,
How do your values support your personal code of ethics? Now that I have explained my background, I place a special emphasis on maintenance of personal integrity, conduct of excellence, taking of responsibility, love of family and accomplishment of ambitious goals. I have high expectations for myself with respect to my actions; on at least a weekly basis, I take time to think on who I am and how that compares to my best possible self. My actions make me who I am, so it is essential that I respect the following commitments in all of my actions, both personal and professional: • A commitment to do what I know is true and right.
Values make up a large part of our life and influence the decisions we make. I will continue to live my life with honesty and I aim to become a person of integrity, my ambition and work ethic will help me develop into a better being. I don’t doubt that my values will carry me on to a successful and fulfilling life. Without my family and friends I would have not been able to reach the point where I am today, and I would not be able to personally grow and develop my own way of living and personal beliefs. These influences will help guide me to the path of becoming a decent man. Fortunately, I have my spirituality in hopes to continue growing and develop a better understanding of everything around me.
Morality is set of principles guiding us to evaluate that what is right or wrong, and it builds the personal character, reasonable behavior and choices of a person as well as helps people to justify decisions, goals, and actions all through the life. The fabric of any society is held together by the standards of morality that we maintain and practice. The values our personal set is the belief about what is important, unimportant, right, wrong, good, and bad which have the same value with morality.
