I am going to talk about 9/11. And how important it is and how many people died from the plane crash and the people the building and cops and firefighters. I feel like everyone honors that day because it is very special for other people around the world. My first paragraph i'm going to talk about what happened that day September 11, 2001. There were two planes that crashed into the twin towers. They left from Boston International Airport to Los Angeles. The first plane crashed at 9:03 Am. And then at 9:59 Am it collapses. At 10:28 Am they hit the other tower. There was one plane that crashed into the pentagon. The time that the plane hit the pentagon was at 10:53 Am. And there was one plane that crashed in a Pennsylvania field. They were
headed the White House at the time. This happened at 10:03 Am. In total 2,996 thousand people died in all four planes. I feel like this is so important is to tell people what happened that day. How there were a lot of Americans who died from helping other people. And then a few years later they killed Osama Bin Laden. The Americans think that was wrong of what he did to the Americans. Why would they do that to our Country. think is to tell how bad America is and you shouldn't go there at all. And Americans alway goes to different country, and they don't enjoy when we come there. They think that's not right of us to go there they think we should just stay in America like everyone else does. https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/h/helenkelle120988.html

At 9:03 United Airlines Flight 175 crashes in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Then American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the western façade of the Pentagon. At the end of this horrific terrorist attack approximately 2,977 died. Many families lost fathers, mothers, daughters, brothers. Who could possible inflict such a horrendous, despicable
September 11, 2001 was a day that Americans and the world for that matter will not soon forget. When two planes went into the twin towers of the World Trade Center and two others went into the Pentagon and a small town in Pennsylvania, the world was rocked. Everyone in the United States felt very vulnerable and unsafe from attacks that might follow. As a result, confidence in the CIA, FBI, and the airlines were shaken. People were scared to fly after what had happened.
Host: On September the 11th 2001, the notorious terror organisation known as Al-Qaeda struck at the very heart of the United States. The death count was approximately 3,000; a nation was left in panic. To this day, counterterrorism experts and historians alike regard the event surrounding 9/11 as a turning point in US foreign relations. Outraged and fearful of radical terrorism from the middle-east, President Bush declared that in 2001 that it was a matter of freedoms; that “our very freedom has come under attack”. In his eyes, America was simply targeted because of its democratic and western values (CNN News, 2001). In the 14 years following this pivotal declaration, an aggressive, pre-emptive approach to terrorism replaced the traditional
On the morning of September 11/2001, 19 terrorist working for the Al Qaeda terrorist organization hijacked four commercial planes. They attempted to fly them into multiple U.S targets. One of the planes, American Airlines, flight 11, crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center at 8:50 a.m. Another plane, United Airlines, flight 175, crashed into the south tower at 9:04 a.m. These tragedies took the lives of nearly 3000 people and affected the lives of millions.
Introduction On September 11, 2001, the World Trade Center buildings one and two were attacked. However, who we were attacked by and even if we were attacked is a hard decision to make. There have been many different claims about how everything on that fateful day happened. There are facts that we know are true, though; Flight 11 flew into the North Tower at eight forty- six in the morning.
President Roosevelt stated, “Yesterday, December 7, 1941-- a date which will live in infamy--the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan…. Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation. As commander in chief of the Army and Navy I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense….I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, December 7, a state of war has existed between the United States and the Japanese Empire,”¹
The morning of September 11, 2001 began with the hijacking of four planes from Boston’s Logan airport. The goal of the fateful event was to cripple the United States economy by destroying what was considered to be the center of its power, Wall Street, the Pentagon and the White House (Amadeo). The terrorists successfully hit one of their targets, both towers of the American Trade Center, by 9 AM the morning of September 11th. The Pentagon in Washington D.C. was the next target with American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into it around 9:30 AM. The last plane, Flight 93, which was headed for targets in Washington, either the White House or the Capitol Building, crashed into western Pennsylvania after the passengers attacked the terrorists on board (Amadeo). The death total was staggering, 2975 people died in the attacks on September 11, 2001. This number surpassed the number of people who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 1941
In the wake of 9/11, President George W. Bush provided strong and uniting leadership. He led the country strongly and gave the morning nation comfort through his words and actions. Nine days after 9/11 Bush gave what I would consider the best speech of his presidency. His address to Congress on September 20th, 2001 was his best speech because he honored the people who were lost to the acts of terror and he honored the rescue workers who lost their lives and tried to save as many people as possible. He was the strong, confident, compassionate leader that we needed at that terrible time in our history. He reminded us of how strong our country is and of our indomitable spirit.
There were numerous events and threats leading up to the terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center which left chaos amongst the streets of downtown New York City and would leave America and its families devastated and prone to change after this infamous date in our nation’s history. What happened on September 11th, 2001 was without a doubt both horrific and ill natured. Multiple terrorists hijacked several US airliners that would later be flown into the North and South towers, the Pentagon, and also an unintended area in Pennsylvania. It can be said that the United States of America was unprepared and vulnerable for these occurrences.
On September 11, 2001 it was a tragic day for many people . It was 8:45 a.m. on a clear Tuesday morning, an American Airlines Boeing 767 loaded with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. It left a burning hole on the 80th floor of the 110 story skyscraper . It killed hundreds of people and it trapped people on the higher floors. After they evacuated the towers they started broadcasting it live on television . They were saying that is was a freak accident. Then, 18 minutes later the second Boeing 767–United Airlines Flight 175–appeared out of the sky, then they turned sharply toward the World Trade Center and crashed into the south tower around the 60th floor.
As a result from extreme hard work and perseverance followed by an unmatchable drive to succeed, Donald J. Trump has earned the right to be known as a multi-billionaire, real estate icon, and President of the United States of America. Reflecting on his life, he has faced many challenges and overcame them all. To understand how he rose to success and his journey to the top of the kingpin, it is important to recognize how he saw the american dream and pursued it. Today, many recognize him as the president but very few can fully grasp all that he has done in his life. From his start as a real estate mogul, to his impact on media, there are many questions as to how he became so recognizable today.
9/11 was one of the darkest days in America, but some say the government could have been part of these attacks. For many years people have debated about the 9/11 cover up. This theory cannot explain why the government would do this. Once people understand why the 9/11 cover up is fake, they will begin to see the answer to their problem, could the government have done this? This conspiracy theory is wrong because, terrorists admitted to the attacks, so many people died, and there's no evidence against the government.
On September 11, 2001, a ghastly crime was committed against the United States of America. The Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda systemized four terrorist attacks on the country, targeting symbolic landmarks. Planes were hijacked, one crashing into the pentagon, one that was headed towards Washington D.C ended up crashing in an open field due to the valiant efforts of those on board, and the other two colliding into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. The aftermath of this evil event was destruction and heartbreak. 2,977 innocent lives were lost, over 6,000 severely injured, many of these who lived having permanent health effects, the families of those who had been killed forever having to experience that empty void.
George W. Bush’s “9/11 Address to the Nation” was a speech which was given after the catastrophic event that occurred on September eleventh, 2001. Two airplanes were hijacked and crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City on this day, shocking the entire world. He addressed this speech to the people of America on the night of the disastrous event, highlighting how America’s freedom was obliterated. This speech explained how the United States is a strong country, why this incident occurred, as well as to bring the United States together and stronger.
According to an article published by CNN on March 31st entitled Operation Iraqi Freedom states that on June 28, 2004 the US handed over sovereignty to the temporary Iraqi government, which was also set up by the US (Operation Iraqi).
