Every year my family on the Perry side celebrates Christmas together. We usually gather at one of my aunt’s or uncle’s homes. They all live in the suburbs of Chicago. So, my mom, dad, two brothers, and our sweet dog Abby drive about two hours for the festivities. When we arrive, we usually visit with everyone for about an hour and then we do my favorite part, eat! We always eat a magnificent lunch consisting of: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans and of course grandma’s applesauce. After lunch we all prepare for the outrageous gift exchange. We tend to receive so many wonderful, fun, and thoughtful gifts from whomever drew our name. My grandma and grandpa give everyone extra special gift of some green stuff, money. Next, we chow down
