I know I haven’t known you for that long, but in these short 3 months one thing I’ve learned is what an amazing father you are. Even though I’m pretty sure you already know this. The love you have for your daughters is inspiring. I’m so very lucky and blessed to have met a man like you. One who understands that a father’s duty is to set a standard in which your daughters will judge all men against. To protect your little girls and love them unconditionally. The pride and joy you have for your girls shows by the way your face lights up when you talk about them. The bond daughters have with their fathers is extremely sacred and precious and it’s obvious you have that with them. Your daughters are extremely blessed to have you in their lives.
On behalf of my entire family, I want to thank all of you for your compassion and for being present here today. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Mauri-Lynne, and I'm Lionel's daughter. Dad was devoted to every one of you. We all hope that you'll share your memories of him with us, if not today then in the weeks and months to come.
...promising dreams, relationships often fall apart under strain from unemployment, drug and alcohol abuse, imprisonment, conflict and betrayal. Finally, we get to the heart of what marriage means to these mothers and why they say that successfully raising children is the most important job they will ever have. Almost all of the women said things like “It’s only because my children that I am where I am today.”
Eulogy for Son William was a very special person. His good qualities are endless. Since he was just a child, I always remember William sticking up for the family. When his sister, Lisa, was a baby, William would sit outside her room with a mask and cape on, ready to rescue her in case she started crying. And, if William’s father or I were making too much noise, he was always quick to fly downstairs and tell us to keep quiet so as not to disturb his little sister.
I stand before you today to pay my last respects, and to say my final goodbyes, to my father Harry.
I'd like to thank you all for the outpouring of support and condolences on the loss of my beautiful son Adam. My entire family appreciates it. This is my eulogy to Adam:
Eulogy for Son First, I would like to say thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love and affection from our community at last night’s viewing for John. Roger at the funeral home told us this was the largest turnout he could remember. Close to 1,000 friends—and many people who were merely touched by John’s story—waited up to four hours in the rain to pay their respects. We want you to know how very grateful and very touched we were by the response.
Eulogy for Son The Death of a Child. Not many people realize that the death of a child is NOT in accordance with God’s NORMAL scheme of things. It is not a natural. God did not mean for a child to go first. A child buries the parent.
Fathers show love towards their children so that they can have a visual example of how to love. In the article it quotes, “A father’s love for his children is often expressed in the sacrifices they make, whether in times of crisis or just in the everyday choices of family life” (Source C). This shows that Fathers will do whatever it takes to plant the seed of love in their children. Fathers teach their children to be discipline and to learn proper manners. In the article it says, “Fathers are central to the emotional well-being of their children; the are capable caretakers and disciplinaries” (Source B). This explains that fathers are responsible of giving their children proper care and teaching them to make mature actions. Fathers teach their children the power of love and to be content with what they
Three of the most important roles in father is spending time with their children, being a positive role model, and nurturing their child. These are the most important parts of being a father because the child learns from the adult in their live and if they have an adult who is present in their lives and cares for them then they are more likely to grow up with a higher self-esteem. According to the article Effective Fathering “too many fathers become convinced that they are simply an extra set of hands to help around the house” Men often times do not see themselves as a crucial part of their children’s lives.
I could say, and few would disagree, that perhaps the most important things for a parent to have and to give is love. Love seems at first to be all-encompassing; that as long as you love your children, you would do anything and everything for them- and this makes you a good parent.
Today, the most difficult day in my family’s life, we gather to say farewell to our son, brother, fiancé and friend. To those of you here and elsewhere who know Dylan you already are aware of the type of person he was and these words you will hear are already in your memory. To those who were not as fortunate, these words will give you a sense of the type of man he was and as an ideal for which we should strive. My son has been often described as a gentle soul. He was pure of heart and had great sensitivity for the world around him. He had a way with people that made them feel comfortable around him and infected others to gravitate toward him. Dylan exuded kindness and pulled generosity and altruism out from everyone he touched. He was everyone's best friend.
...roclaiming their love and faithfulness towards each other. When you commit your body and soul in your marriage your lifestyle will be stable and secure for your children to grow up in. Parents are role models for their children. As children grow up they will model the same behavior from their parents when they are adults.
Before I begin I would like to thank all of you here on behalf of my mother, my brother and myself, for your efforts large and small to be here today, to help us mark my fathers passing.
I am looking forward to hearing them call me mom and completely love me no matter what. I want to be able to show them that they are cared for and loved beyond their imagination and expectations. I hope that they know how much I will love them and how I wish for them to live life in the best way possible. I am worried about the cost of parenting and getting so caught up in work and belong busy that my children might be sacrificed or vice versa. I worry about having to leave my child when I can’t be with them. I know I’ll worry about my child having a rare disease or getting hurt at any time. I worry that they could be taken from me in any way at any time, because if I loose them I will lose part of my heart. I know that I will do some of the same things that my parents do, but I also hope to do even more. I plan on showing my children respect like my parents do, and pushing them to do their very best, while being for them if they fail. I want them,
A father is there to watch his beautiful daughter grow up and hold her arm to walk her down the aisle on her perfect day. A woman doesn’t deserve to be abandoned by her own father because to another man she will be the diamond buried beneath all the coal. Having a father figure in your life sets standards in a young womans life. When growing up with a father he is there to help you through the tough times of life, so to them what the difference between a healthy relationship and a non healthy relationship is how to strive for success and to show that real love is
