The antagonist doesn’t agree with his decision and betrays him, making the choice very important to the story line. …show more content…
If he didn’t care about how people would view him as a superhero and didn’t secretly strive for approval form people he would have made the opposite choice. A person that makes choices based on actualism would make a different decision. An actualism follower will only make choices based on which will create the least consequents.2 With the idea that they can only lie if in the end it will create less consequents, an actualism follower wouldn’t tell people they were the super hero keeping everyone safe and less of a possibility that people will use them to harm you. By Tony telling the world that he is Iron man not only does he put himself in danger but also the people he has closet to him. So, his decision to not lie about his identity creates more consequents and can lead to his down fall. This idea is then proven in the film Iron Man 3. Every one of Tony’s decisions have an impact in the movie. He seems to make both bad and good choices. In his head though he believes they are the right choices. If Tony had more a specific ethic principle he would follow he would make more consistent right choices not only to himself but the people around him as well. 2 Hansson, S.O. Both the soldier and Ronnie face challenges to make the decision whether they should be loyal to their leader or friend, or whether they should do the opposite. They later regret the decision they make and face the consequences that come along with it. Ronnie goes through an emotional state from lying to the sergeant, and the soldier feels guilty for killing Gregory. This is why you should think of others before you make any decision, and be loyal to those who you trust and think are right.
Every individual has a unique composite of values and is readily presented with contrasting choices in their daily lives. As individuals act on these choices, they are sometimes presented with a conflict of interest between the beliefs they hold and the actions they commit.
