One day I went to my cousins 3D 4D ultrasound appointment, it inspired me to become an ultrasound technician because the amazing things you could do for others. My future plan is to become an ultrasound technician and go to California College San Diego and to do well in school. This will make a difference for society because it’ll be helpful to solve issues within advance. I would like to be an ultrasound technician because I grew up loving to see babies in an ultrasound, even broken bones. Some reliable information I found is that ultrasound technicians receive some of the highest salaries in the medical industry. It is a requirement for the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Employers prefer these individual skills given in the ARDMS. I will study skills and concepts in medical assisting, medical billing, coding, laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, nursing assisting and pharmacy technology. I would need to provide emotional and mental assistance to the mother throughout the pregnancy as well as, while she is in labor. As a midwife nurse I would be able to educate the mother on what to do physically to benefit herself and the baby. A major benefit that would come with choosing to be a midwife would be that I would be working one on one with the mother with no interference or I would work with a Physician. Becoming a midwife is appealing to me because I would get to work in the child aspect of the medical field and I would get to help the mother at the same time. ...really bad pain in my chest and I could not sleep so I made another doctor’s appointment. When I got there, the doctor took a look at my breast and realized that one was much larger than the other. I went right to ultrasound where they found many cysts in my breast. That was one of the most painful but relieving procedures. I was assured that it was not breast cancer and that I should be fine within a few days. I am very thankful for the technology of ultrasound and I want to be able to help people who have been in similar situations like me. During my 2013 summer break, I also took a certified nursing assistant course and have been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) since September 2013. I would like to become a neurologist. I would like this as a job because it seems pretty fun and it has a high average salary.
