Many others may think the death of Romeo and Juliet is not caused by the parents, however, the conflicts between the Montague and Capulet is above all other points of view. With other point of views such as Friar and Nurse, fate, or Romeo and Juliet themselves, the problems between the Montague and Capulet lead to major points in the story in different ways. For example, if the parents of Romeo and Juliet are peaceful towards each other, Friar would have never gave Juliet that potion, and Romeo would have never thought Juliet was dead and bought the poison from the apothecary. In addition, Tybalt, nephew to Lady Capulet and cousin to Juliet, would have never slain Romeo’s friend, Mercutio, and Romeo would not revenge Tybalt and kills him. Then, Romeo would not be banished from the city of Verona. It is the parents that are responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet for many reasons. The first reason is, in Act 1, the servants of Capulet and the servants of Montague got into an argument between each other. Later the family of Capulet and the family of Montague joined in, and it becomes wilder and wilder, until the Prince of Verona came in and break apart the argument. The second reason is when Tybalt saw that Romeo came to the Capulet’s event and tell Capulet that they should get rid of Romeo but Capulet responded, “No.” Later in the story, Tybalt killed Mercutio, and Romeo becomes furious and slain Tybalt afterwards, and it results in Romeo’s banishment from the city of Verona. The third reason is when Romeo and Juliet wants to get married, the only problem that stands in their way is that they are from different families, and their family hates each other. So Friar arranged a secret marriage for Romeo and Juliet so they would not let their parents know, but many future problems can arise because of this. All those reasons are caused by the animosity between the Montague and the Capulet family. Juliet’s parent wants Paris to be married to Juliet, however, Juliet does not like that idea so she disagreed. Even though Juliet disagreed with her parent, she is forced to be married to Paris. Before the night of the marriage, Juliet took the potion that Friar gave her so the people think she is dead but in reality, she is not. On the next day, all the people in the house think Juliet is dead except Friar. When Romeo knows what happened to Juliet, he decided to buy himself a poison from the apothecary so he can die with Juliet. When Juliet wakes up and found out that Romeo is dead, she is miserable and stabs herself with her dagger so she can die with Romeo by his side. Both the Capulet and the Montague felt dreadful for the loss they just had. Parenting matters in many ways.
They teach children many things before they entered preschool. One of them is habits and how children should behave and know what is good and what is bad. According to Loyola University’s Fred Morrison, PhD, “Parenting adds up to a lifestyle that funnels into the language, general knowledge, reading and math skills that children start with.” So if the Montague and the Capulet were peaceful toward each other, then the parent would agree on the marriage between Romeo and Juliet and not have an argument about the marriage. Then Juliet would never drink that potion from Friar and Romeo would never have thought Romeo was dead. So parenting matters, and they are important to children.
The parents are responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet for many reasons. One major reason is the dispute between the two families. If the parents are peaceful towards each other, then none of the tragedy would ever happen. If the Montague and the Capulet do not have animosity between each other, then Romeo and Juliet would live happily together. So generally speaking, the hatred between the parents of Romeo and Juliet are responsible or to blame for the death of Romeo and
Juliet.
An ancient grudge and parents too blinded by hatred to break it, bear the ultimate blame for the tragic death of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence was just attempting to mend the rift between two households. Nurse desired to make Juliet happy. The parents were selfish and could not get over their enmity with each other, and their children suffered the repercussing consequences. Bombarded by the indecision of all, Romeo and Juliet were free-spirited, love-struck, and young. Sadly it was their deaths, not love or marriage that finally brought the two houses together and Verona peace.

In the story “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “ the main characters get themselves in a pickle by falling in love knowing that their families are sworn enemies. Soon Romeo kills Juliet's cousin by accident, Juliet drinks a potion, some words get twisted and at the end both of the lovebirds end up dead. At the end of the story both families are devastated that both of their children pass away, but there are also many unanswered questions. The most asked question in the story is “ Who's to blame? ” and overall I believe everyone has a little part in influencing their death, but I believe that one person is to blame for most of this and I believe that it is the mother and father of Juliet.
In Romeo and Juliet, there are many guilty parties that contribute to the deaths and demise of Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio, Tybalt, Count Paris and the many other victims of the bitterness and grudge between the Capulets and the Montagues. However, the three most culpable parties are the set of opposing parents; the Montagues and Capulets, the prince; Escalus of Verona and ultimately the lovers, Romeo and Juliet. The blame lies mostly on these three parties because their decisions greatly influenced the outcome of this Shakespearean tragedy. In this essay, I will prove and condemn the prince, parents and lovers for the losses of life and the confusion in Romeo and Juliet.
To support my thesis that the conflict between the heads of the Montague and Capulet families are responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death, I quote from Romeo and Juliet (V, iii, 291-293) Prince: "... Capulet! Montague! See, what a scourge is laid upon your hate, that heaven finds means to kill your joys with love! What the Prince is saying is that, see what dreadful punishment has been laid upon your hatred. Heaven finds a reason to kill your joys with their love!"
The feud meant that they had to keep their relationship under wraps and tip-toe around their families. The ancient grudge between the two families meant that if one member of either family found out about Romeo and Juliet then they would be killed, ‘If they do see thee, they will murder thee.’ The family feud between the Montague and Capulet families could also be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because they both grew up with people dieing within the families because of the grudge. For instance Mercutio and Tybalt, Mercutio was a very loyal friend of Romeo’s and Tybalt was Juliet’s cousin. The deaths of these characters meant that Romeo and Juliet were both distressed and unhappy, and thus could have given more reason to their own deaths, ‘ A’ Thursday let it be, a’ Thursday, tell her,
Tybalt and Mercutio provoking one another plays a big part in the death of Romeo and Juliet. The family feud causes Romeo and Juliet to keep secrets from their family which also results in their death. Lastly Capulet forcing Juliet to marry Paris is the main reason why they ended up giving their lives for one another. At the end both families admit that it is their own faults that their children died. The death of Romeo and Juliet puts them at peace, after all Romeo and Juliet's love story changes the Capulet and Montague feud into
Albert Camus points out that for some people, it is easier for them to take their own life, than it is to continue living an empty one. This is the case for the star-crossed lovers, Romeo, and Juliet, in William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet. Although there were multiple contributing factors to the suicides of Romeo and Juliet, Friar Laurence is directly responsible for their deaths. He is responsible because he trusted someone other than himself to deliver the letter to Romeo, he gave Juliet the potion, and left when Romeo and Juliet were in danger at the tomb.
In the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, many people lead to the outcome of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. The play is about a boy, Romeo, and a girl, Juliet, from two rival families that fall in love. The two families, the Montagues and Capulets, have been fighting for a long time and it affects the entire city of Verona, where they live. It is debated whether or not the deaths of the star-crossed lovers could be blamed on numerous people. The tragedy of their deaths was the faults of multiple characters and could have been prevented.
Shakespeare has been know for many plays but one of his famous one is “Romeo and Juliet” Which has two teens from rivalling families who fell in love with each other but through misunderstandings and not well thought out plans by their mentors led to both Romeo and Juliet’s death by suicide. Everyone is to blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo, Juliet, Friar Laurence, and Romeo and Juliet’s parents all played their own role in causing the four deaths of Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt, and Paris. It is not just one of them to blame, every one of them did something to cause the tragedy. Some of them played a bigger role than others, but everyone contributed. Fate had nothing to do with it and it was all the different characters faults. Romeo, Juliet, and Friar Lawrence’s rash decisions where the main cause of the tragedy.
In William Shakespeare’s tragic play Romeo and Juliet, two young lovers from opposing households make impetuous decisions which ultimately lead to the suicide of both lovers (Romeo and Juliet). Juliet, one lover, has mentors that fail her in the play because of their ignorance of her emotional needs and growing independence as a teenager. These mentors are Juliet’s former wet nurse and guardian, the Nurse, Juliet’s mother, Lady Capulet, and Juliet’s father, Lord Capulet.
