I chose the architecture of the Taj Mahal. The balance given in this art-piece is symmetrical balance. The balance gives the painting a nice and neat feeling, as if it had the attention and time of 100 artisans working on its beauty.
The Dark Ages was a time period in which barbarians raided, diseases spread rapidly, and kingdoms started to emerge. For nearly one thousand years Europe endured the Middle Ages, caused by the fall of the roman empire in 473. The Medieval time period had its ups and downs, however, it was mainly highlighted by the horrible things the people that were born during that time had to endure. Europe needed a break from the dread and needed some time of peace and innovation. Luckily the Renaissance was on its way, and it was Florence, Italy that was the ground zero for the “Rebirth” or “Revival” of European life. The Renaissance changed the way people saw their world by opening everyone’s eyes and showing them the good things. Such is self-evident

I will go back to Taj Mahal soon. I always stayed away from Indian food because the smell always put me off, but this time taste won me over.
Have you ever wanted to create a giant starship from your favorite Star Wars movie? Or maybe build a huge model of the Taj Mahal? How about a Ferrari racecar in the pit stop getting a tire change? With Lego, that is all possible.
Taj Mahal stands in a formally laid-out walled garden; I think these trees and flowers made Taj Mahal even more beautiful and gave it a look of peacefulness. White marble and red sandstone are great materials to be used for symbol of eternal love. Everything seems to be in balance of itself. I think a long pool in front of Taj Mal does give many explanations or meaning of Taj Mahal. I think reflecting of Taj Mal in the long pool tells us that Shan Jahan would only love his wife, like the reflection that will only give the image of Taj Mahal, not anything else.
One of the world’s greatest love stories produced a timeless monument. The structure’s sheer beauty inspired poetic words from the builder himself. The monument is an engineering marvel that has been studied by scholars and historians alike. Visitors throughout history have been infatuated by the shrine’s elegance. Count Hermann Keyserling describes the monument as, "A massive marble structure, without weight, as if formed of ether, perfectly rational and at the same time entirely decorative (Taj Mahal, 2008).Keyserling went on to say, “It is perhaps the greatest art work which the forming spirit of mankind has ever brought forth (Taj Mahal, 2008)." An American novelist, Bayard Taylor referred to this structure as a castle in the air (Taj Mahal, 2008). Constructed as a tomb for the emperor’s deceased wife, the Taj Mahal stands as one of the greatest manmade creations in the history of the world.
The Taj Mahal was built as a mausoleum or resting place as you would for one of the emperor queens in the 1600's. The empire was infatuated with his wife, they had a type of love no one could fathom. The queen died giving birth to their 14th son, and right before she died she requested if she could Have a building built just for her. The Taj Mahal is perfectly se metrical, and consists of designs from other mausoleum in India. The Taj Mahal during the time it was built cost India so much that a Fathom was happening at the same time. Rice was diverted from the cities to the area of the Taj Mahal to feed the architects and workers while they constructed this magnificent building out of brick and faced with layers of white marble. The main architect that that had constructed this building in located in Agra at Uttar Pradesh 282001 was named Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. With the construction of this building and labor involved I don't believe another building will ever be built quite like this
Marble have been used in some of the historic instances in ancient times. Rome’s Pantheon, Athens’ Parthenon, London’s Marble Arch, Michelangelo’s masterpiece ''David'' and Agra's Taj Mahal are popular examples of it. The Taj Mahal is most popular building in the world and it is known for its beauty. This mausoleum was built for Mumtaz Mahal, third wife to Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 to 1653. It was built in 1848 to 1884. Marbles from a quarry located near Texas, Maryland was used in the initial construction of the structure.
The Jaalis in the Mughal monuments of Agra were based on Islamic art and elements. Also known as lattice work, this decorative construction was the most important and commonly used element in Mughal buildings of Agra. The splendor of these Jaalis was intensified with brilliant amalgamation of geometrical and floral design. The main objective behind such construction was the passage of light. The light is a spiritual representation in Islam, the icon of celestial union and existence of Divinity, reminds only the God is real-rest everything is
Spain’s decline was brought on due to lack of productivity, growth, and poor leadership. Spain emerged quickly only to spare power to the Ottoman Empire. The Mughals took what was ‘Indian’, developed by the Delhi Sultanate and surrounding Hindu kingdoms that were consolidated into the Mughal Empire throughout its reign, and made it their own, creating whole new areas of study and development in the kingdom. One of the most majestic and famous results of this is the Taj Mahal, recognised by people all throughout the world as a true product of the Mughal Dynasty and proof of the Mughals wealth and ingenuity, combining traditional Indian and Persian architecture and as a result creating something so beautiful it is considered one of the world’s greatest wonders.
In analyzing the legacy of the 14th century Islamic traveler Ibn Battuta, it is impossible to ignore the impact that his voyages in the 1350-60s had on the social and cultural development of the Mali Empire and its neighbors. But even more significant was the impact of these travels to the upper classes living in his native Morocco and in the Arabic birthplace of Islam, who would grow to have great power and prestige across Africa and the East.
Love is blind, it can happen anywhere, anytime, and with anyone. At the age of 18, I experienced my first love, but we were apart. I think Taj Mahal changed peoples view of love, and made peoples bond intense. Love is magical, it just happens and you don’t even realize it until something is taken away from you. Taj Mahal is one strong example of love, because it shows how Shah Jahan built a proof of his love (Taj Mahal), buried her body under the Taj Mahal, and stared at the monument for eight years of his jail.
