Essay On Stereotypes Of Women

Why are we so passionate about prejudice? stereotype is taking a description of an individual and applying it to a group as a whole. Many people can be in ways that sometimes stereotyped are correct or incorrect. We have all been stereotyped and have put on us or others, but it is how we cope and deal with these stereotype when they are put upon us. I desire to illustrate some stereotype about women in my country that I don’t agree with.
In my country, men think that all women are born to do some duty,such as taking care of children, staying at home and preparing meal…etc. usually men ignore women’s abilities in the all specialties. In many years ago, women didn’t have permission to work in society. In addition, they couldn’t vote. They were prohibited to drive by the

government. Also, the government disregarded them by arranging some rules which limited women to prove their abilities in the society.It was thought that women are not as good as the men. However, after that women could get some rights from government but not complete. The government was satisfied that they can work but in minimum salary in compare with the men.it wasn’t fair that there wasn’t an equity between men and women. In many cases individuals sacrificed because of some wrong attitudes.
The women struggled for their basic rights in order to achieve their targets.

They did their best in all field. Furthermore, they got the right of studding in universities .Nowadays, we have so many successful women in different fields. The one who I am delighted to mention is Anousheh Ansari, the first female that could consider herself as the space tourist. She has shown that the Iranian women are so clever and they have so many abilities to innovate something or to develop their country. The other one is Shirin Ebadi who is a lawyer. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts for democracy and human rights, especially for the rights of women and children.In my view, it was a revolution in my country. We have many other successful women in other fields.There are so many successes in women’s sport. Although, they have to have hijab but they fight with all the problems.
To conclude, I believe that stereotype exists all around the world. There are so many people who desire to prejudice some groups or attitudes. We can’t change the other people’s idea but we can practice on our thought not to sacrifice with their views. There are some ignorant who consider their ideas are
