Stephen Hawking’s and his discoveries as a scientist
Stephen Hawking is a famous American scientist who studies cosmology and is a theoretical physicist who has inspired many other scientist out there in the world. Albert Einstein was a big influence on Hawking because he liked Einsteins Theory of Relativity, he used this to study black holes. Stephen Hawking is also an influence on other scientist in todays date such as Brian Cox who has a tv show who talks and studies about black holes, he has also influenced very young children like Charlie Saur who also likes the study of black holes and does much research on it.
Stephen Hawking has accomplished many things in his life, going to University of Oxford at 17 years old and studied math and science which he thought was “ridiculously easy”. He was a very smart student, people at the school would call him “Einstein”. He also went to Trinity Hall, Cambridge where he studied his graduate work. Year went on and Hawking got married to Jane, the first year was hectic for them, they had constant traveling to the United States, also troubles finding a house for them to live in, their whole family were scientist, they all shared a liking to it and worked on many projects dealing with science.
Over years Hawking is developing a bad disease which made him unable to walk, he can walk but he has to use crutches and didn’t attend much lectures for his condition is taking over, he also lost his ability to write. Knowing his condition is getting worse day by day, he refused to give up and continue on with his studies and eventually was given a wheelchair to transport himself because of his ability to walk. Hawking’s discoveries and ...

... what he said to the people who don’t know what he is exactly saying. Hawking would get in many arguments with other scientist that black holes do not exist but those scientist would lose that argument because of evidence of Hawking’s discoveries.
There have been many documentaries on Hawking’s discoveries and other scientist’s theories thanks to Hawking’s help with the black hole and galaxy theories, Hawking’s condition has become worse where he uses a machine to communicate to people and sits in a chair for movement for the rest of his life, he has gotten into another marriage and is happy with his family, still searching and studying Quantum gravity happily and finding new things doing so. Many people today are touched by his work and book’s that they also would like to major in a scientific field one day and continue on his studies and make new theorem’s.
Death by Black Hole: And Other Cosmic Quandaries is a biography that is divided into 5 chapters total and a total of 42 mini sections. Bringing together more than forty of Tyson's favorite essays explores a myriad of cosmic topics, from what it would be like to be inside a black hole to the movie industry's feeble
Hawking is still alive and has been living with his disease for fifty-two years now (“Stephen Hawking Biography”, n.d.). In doing research as to how Hawking has been able to live so long with this disease, I came to the conclusion that there is not a reason. An article written by Terrence McCoy (2015) in the Washington Post described his lengthy life as “extraordinary” and “extremely rare”. This is further indication that his interminable existence is supported by pure luck. What an incredible coincidence that such an important man was able to withstand the consequences of a highly fatal disease. Stephen Hawking, the Hawking family, and the rest of the world are, whether they know it or not, thankful for this one man’s extreme luck. His contributions to scientific knowledge and his perseverance will be forever
In the 1970’s, Stephen Hawking made the argument that the quantum-mechanical effects of black holes made them emit radiation
Dr. Stephen Hawking is one of the most recognizable and influential scientists since Einstein. He was born on January 8, 1942, 300 years after the death of Galileo. As a child, he was always interested in science. He spent many days and nights looking up at the stars or making fireworks with his father. He also spent time making complicated board games with his friends (McDaniel 26-28). At the age of eight, his family moved to St. Albans, where he was enrolled at the St. Albans School. Although Hawking was not the best student, he went on to Oxford University in 1959, where he graduated with a degree in natural science three years later (Hawking 1). That same year, he went to Cambridge University to pursue his Ph.D. in cosmology, but was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS) one year later, in 1963. This prompted him to work harder at his schoolwork, as he was only given two years to live. In 1965, Hawking married Jane Wilde, an undergraduate student majoring in world languages at Cambridge University. He became extremely interested in the work of Roger Penrose, a cosmologist who had just explained how black holes begin from collapsing stars (Biography.com 17). In 1974 Hawking made the discovery of Hawking radiation, which escapes from black holes. This is one of the most recognized and revolutionary discoveries in cosmology. Dr. Stephen Hawking positively changed the world scientifically and socially, despite being crippled by a deadly disease.

Stephen Hawking is an extraordinary being to say the least. Stephen is possibly the smartest person on the planet, and if he isn’t quite there he is extremely close. Hawking is a very interesting person between his family, being diagnosed, education, and many other things, including his research, he is definitely worth reading about. This paper will inform you of everything you need to know about Stephen William Hawking.

He has significantly altered our view of the world with his Theory of Relativity. The other one is not so well known, his works are commonly associated with Einstein instead. His name is Heisenberg. He is a narrator. He worked mainly in Quantum Physics and was responsible for the development of the Principle of Uncertainty.
Initially, Albert Einstein was the person to predict the existence of black holes through his General Theory of Relativity, in which he had created several general equations that show the interaction of gravitation as a result of space being curved by matter or energy. In 1915, he published Einstein’s field equations, which specify how the geometry of space and time is influenced by whatever matter and radiation are present, and form the core of Einstein's general theory of relativity (Redd). The general theory relativity was the initial step in the process to finding out more information about black holes. As time went on, there were a few main contributors that solved these equations to help develop better theories on black holes. One of the most important contributors to the development of a better u...
Stephen Hawking has been hailed as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists since Albert Einstein. Hawking was born on January 8, 1942, which as he likes to point out is the 300th anniversary of Galileo's death. Hawking originally studied at Oxford University in England studying physics even though he would have preferred math. He moved onto Cambridge University to work on his PhD in cosmology. Hawking's career has focused upon the cosmic entities known as black holes, and has extended to specialized areas such as quantum gravity, particle physics, and supersymmetry.
Yes, many people have heard of Albert Einsteins General Theory of Relativity, but few people know about the intriguing life that led this scientist to discover what some have called The Greatest Single achievement of human thought!
Stephen Hawking one of the greatest physicist was born on January 8, 1942 in Oxford,England. Surprisingly he was born on the 300 hundredth anniversary of Galileo. Hawking’s parents lived in Highgate during the attack of the world war II and the black out in London. For a more guarded and secure place his mother Isobel decided to give birth in Oxford, England.(Hawking.org) During this time money was very little for the Hawkings because of the war. Everything was hard for them at this time especially when raising a family. While Stephen was growing up the Hawkings were oddly different from him, during dinner time in most occasions they were often reading a book. They were recognized as being highly intelligent and very clever people. Besides for Stephen he was the more normal one in the family. Hawking at a young was recognized as being bright and his mother would say how he had a strong sense of wonder, “stars would always draw his attention,”she quoted. Yet he wouldn’t take his school work seriously. (biography.com) He was ranked no more than halfway up in his class and also struggled with reading. (Ferguson, pg.20) Even though, him and a couple of friends would solve mathematical equations together it took his friends hours to solve about 2 problems out of 10 but on the other hand, he would rush downstairs in minutes and have completed already 5 (biography.com)
