What defines us is what makes us who we are. In a world with billions of people, not two people are the same. Where we come from, what we believe in makes us different from everyone else. Different cultures make the world interesting, learning about how other people live and how they celebrate their beliefs can be an exciting fact. Hinduism and Christianity are two examples of religion that is both great and influential. Some modern thinkers have concluded that there is no ethical and moral teaching in Hinduism because there are no Ten Commandments which are code of life and the basic foundation of ethical teachings of Christianity. The teachings of Hinduism are very loose when it comes to the religion. Its tolerance to add and integrate religions causes a very prominent difference to Christianity. Though these two religions differ greatly, their ethics in moral conduct is in the end the same. Their way of life that stems from just being good brings these two religions together with a similarity.
The belief of a deity differs in the two religions. While Christianity is completely Monotheistic Hinduism accepts a large number of different beliefs. Hinduism could be mono- or polytheistic. Hinduism ability to incorporate different types of religion into their own personal belief completely contrast to Christianity intolerance of believing in one and only one true God. When it comes to existence Christianity believes that everything was made from God as God was alive before pre-creation. This goes against Hinduism since they do not believe that something can come from nothing. Believing instead that there was in fact something before creation.

If you injure your neighbor, you really injure yourself. If you injure any other creature, you really injure yourself, because the whole world is nothing but your own Self.” This is Hindu ethics. This is the basic metaphysical truth that underlies all Hindu ethical codes.
In the end, Christianity and Hinduism, two of the world’s largest religion, is both different and similar. Its difference in belief of a certain deity, scriptures of foundation, tolerance, life after death and moral conduct may distinguish the two religions. But in the end the two strive for a common goal. Both religions try to live a life of moral righteousness. Their goal is to follow one’s belief and to live as true as they can to its faith.
