Frank's RedHot has been making hot sauce since 1964. While the company now has a sizable line that includes a variety of hot sauces, the best-known one is still their Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce. Not only is it a versatile flavoring for a vast range of different foods, it is also the main ingredient in the first ever buffalo wing sauce created at Anchor Bar and Grill in Buffalo. In order to get a better understanding of what makes this hot sauce so iconic, we should take look at what goes into it. Ingredients in Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce The label on the Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce bottle shows these ingredients: Aged Cayenne Red Peppers Distilled Vinegar Water Salt Garlic Powder This is a relatively short ingredients list compared to what goes into some other sauces. On their own, these peppers offer significant heat (30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units) accompanied by mild floral notes. The most likely cultivar used for Frank's RedHot is capsicum frutescens, which is the same pepper used for other hot sauces like Tabasco's Original Red Sauce. Aged cayenne peppers are cayenne peppers that have been fermented. Fermentation has been used as a way to preserve hot peppers since the 17th century when European colonizers transported it around the world; however, it is likely that early Central Americans did this as well. Fermentation can add a good deal of complexity and depth to the flavor of cayenne peppers. The Other Ingredients in Frank's RedHot Cayenne Pepper
ABSTRACT — The impeccable ingenuity of Anne Carson with an elite outlook to the Autobiography of Red edifies the subtle genre in the form of a poetic novel with its firm roots in Greek mythology. Carson, a professor cum poet attempts a precocious projection of the protagonist, Geryon, in the Autobiography of Red by which making an appeal to her readers to opine the literary piece to be the autobiography of Geryon. Carson’s intelligence actually, lies in transposing Geryon’s story, however, into the contemporary world, so that
There are many stories, diaries and books from the time of The Holocaust but arguably the most famous of them all is the story of Anne Frank. The usual is just a rub of salt and pepper and sometimes with garlic and/or cayenne. There is no need to add special rubs because the secret to perfect Texas barbecues is the slow and low cooking. This makes for perfect succulent and juicy barbecues. This is also the reason why Texans are very patient in waiting for their barbecues to cook because the end result is almost always worth the
Despite several notable contrasts between Anne Frank’s life presented in the play, “The Diary of Anne Frank,” and other accounts of Jewish people in hiding during World War II, the lives of these Jews had more similarities than differences. These people were similar in the way that they lived the same schedule every day. Anne and the other Jews relied on their helpers, who risked their lives willingly, to provide food and other human necessities for them, as well as tried to include aspects of their old lives before the Holocaust into their new lives in hiding. The Jews lived with fear of getting caught by Nazis in the back of their minds. Even though Jewish people may have had different
Beauty – it’s all around us. Some people may not realize it, but the beauty of this city is in the history of the buildings and its houses. Any native or visitor can see the charm of the Queen City, but how many people have ever stopped to wonder where the original designs came from? Who built the house of Buffalo? Without a great architect who was ahead of his time, Buffalo would just not be as charming as a city. Frank Lloyd Wright made great contributions to places all over the United States and even overseas. Buffalo is lucky enough to be home to several of Wright’s many designs and creations. Not only did Frank Lloyd Wright design houses, he was the architect of the Larkin Administration Building, which was his first major commercial commission ever to be built (Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House Complex). The Darwin Martin House complex, the Graycliff Estate, a boathouse mausoleum on the Erie Basin Marina, and several private homes for Larkin Soap Company executives, were all built in Buffalo. These constructions were all of Wright’s designs that have contributed to the Buffalo landscape. While Wright has made an impact on Buffalo’s history and beautiful architecture, he has also made an impact all over the globe. From California to Tokyo, Frank Lloyd Wright and his designs are world renown. With several awards and different recognitions, he is arguably the greatest American architect of his time.
In the sources used, the situations that are experienced seems like there is no hope to be found, only fear. Fear will protect us, we hope. Nevertheless, hope is everywhere no matter what. For World War II in The Diary of Anne Frank, Anne Frank is the secret annex’s hope. Anne Frank is a 13-year old girl that has the most hope of surviving the Nazi Invasion. All you can think is, “Ah, the Nazi’s are coming! Run for your lives!” That is what went through many minds during this time period, fear. Fear is a strong ally to have. You can worry all the time and no one will stop you. But, hope can be an even stronger ally, if you believe.
Anne Frank was a young girl living in what was considered one of the darkest moments in recent history, the holocaust. Her diary, which was given to her as a gift, was started on June 12, 1942, her last entry in it was on august 1, 1944, which was when the annex was discovered, and she was sent to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. She lived in an annex in an old warehouse with her family and several other people. Throughout the time spent in the annex, Anne wrote about the life that she lived, the emotions that she went through, and the difficulties of hiding from the Gestapos. Gestapos were the Nazi secret police who were most widely known for tracking down Jewish people who were in hiding. Anne Frank gives an insight to the lifestyle of Jewish families in hiding and the mindset of an adolescent girl trapped in difficult position that threatened everything that she knew and everything that she loved. Adolescents crave freedom and those who do not have freedom can feel more stressed.
“Yes there is no doubt that paper is patient and as I don't intend to show this cardboard- covered notebook, bearing the proud name of “diary”, to anyone, unless I find a real friend, boy or girl, probably nobody cares. And now I come to the root of the matter, the reason for my starting a diary: it is that I have no such real friend.” Anne Frank divulges that she wants her diary to be a friend to her unlike her other friends, she feels isolated and alone sometimes, and wants her diary to be someone she can talk to openly and honestly about everything. So she calls her diary “Kitty” and addresses it as her friend. Anne was often emotional and insecure of herself. She felt as though she didn't have any true confidants, which led her to feel lonely and misunderstood. “I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as a great source of comfort and support.”
In the play, The Diary of Anne Frank, the main character Anne was a dynamic character, changing from being self-centered and naive in the beginning, to being caring towards the end of the story. Anne interacting with the other characters and developing the theme of the play showed proof of these traits of her personality, emotions, intellect, and ethics. First, Anne shows her initial trait of being self-centered, partially because of her naiveness. One example of this is when she has a nightmare, then when her mother comes to comfort her. Mrs. Frank says, “But I’d like to stay with you… very much. Really.”, then Anne responds by saying “I’d rather you didn’t”. Anne deeply hurt her mother by making her feel unwanted and useless, showing that
Living during World War Two must have been an awful things to deal with, but imagine being stuck in an attic with your family as a teenager, or having to move away from all your friends and family against your will? In the non-fiction book Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett tells the story of a girl named Anne who has to move into an attic with 9 others to hide from the Nazi’s during World War 2. Anne isn't liking all of this but soon finds the friends she needs in the attic. In the realistic book The Boy and The Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, it tells the story of a German boy whose father gets promoted and has to move away from all his friends. He doesn’t like moving but soon finds a Jewish boy who lives inside Auschwitz. Both Anne and
The novels Anne Frank and Night discuss how Hitler was a wicked dictator who degraded and killed thousands of Jews. Adolf Hitler is one of the most notorious dictators who not only ruled but also haunted the lives of thousands. He was without a doubt a very wicked and cursed spirit. The Holocaust was a mass murder across Europe, where the German Nazi party murdered mainly Jews, homosexuals, gypsies, and disabled people. Any race or human who was seen as weak was murdered. This horrific time lasted for an unbelievable 12 years. It lasted from 1933 to 1945. While the Holocaust was occurring, World War II was also happening. The murder ranged from any age that you could imagine (Hicks, “Adolf Hitler: The Good the Bad and the Monstrous”).
It is perhaps the most documented, controversial, and worst period in all of human history where the world saw the systematic murder of almost six million Jews by the Nazis during the Holocaust. The Oxford English Dictionary defines dehumanization as the complete deprivation of all human character and attribute. All Jews were basically deprived of all self-worth and dignity for the period of Nazi persecution. The Holocaust was the systematic and state-sponsored persecution and murder of almost six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its associates. The term "Holocaust" comes from the Hebrew word, “Olah”, which means completely burnt offering to God, but the term “Shoah”, catastrophe in Hebrew, is more commonly used to describe the experiences
I feel Anne Frank was justified in the argument about her view on women? Yes,I believe Anne was justified in her argument. And in my opinion she had a strong point in the argument and she put her point across. She stood up for what she believed was right, and what she strongly believed was right was women's rights as well as equal rights.
