Many people think of the Dallas cowboys as a team that haven’t played in the Super Bowl for twenty years. They think this team is a team of losers and big mistakes through their coaches and trading of key players. But what they don't know is that in their prime years, they attended the Super Bowl eight times, besides winning five of those Super Bowl trips.
The Dallas Cowboys first Super Bowl victory in came in 1972. The Cowboys started the game recovering a fumble and ending up getting a field goal. Later in the half the Cowboys scored a touchdown, but also allowed the dolphins a field goal. The cowboys then scored two more times and held the Dolphins scoreless.

Staubach completed on seventeen of his twenty five attempts for 183 yards and one interception. Because of his Great arm and outstanding leadership the Dallas cowboys went on to win Super Bowl number twelve.
Dorsett lead the rushing side of the game with sixty six yards. Dorsett had sixty six Yards on fifteen carries and on Touchdown. Dorsett had a large impact on the out come of the game with not just sixty six yards rushing but also with eleven yards receiving.
The Dallas Cowboys come back firing after a long drought defeating the Bills seventeen to fifty two in Super Bowl 27. the game started out in favor of Buffalo as they took a seven point lead early in the first half. Two positions later the Bills had the ball back, but fumbled it giving it back to the Cowboys deep in Bills territory. The cowboys later scored twice in a row to take the lead, which they would then hold onto until the end. It was a pretty one sided game after the first quarter, with the cowboys emerging as the supper bowl twenty-six champions

Emmitt Smith was again the leading rusher with not even fifty yards. Smith rushed for forty nine yards on eighteen carries and two touchdowns. Thanks to his two scores and the others to get him down field the Dallas cowboys went on to win there 5th Super
