The profession of a crime scene investigator is an outgoing career. The field of criminal justice has always been an interest throughout my life. Being a crime scene investigator is very outgoing but yet it has loads of responsibilities that you cannot be mistaken on. Crime scene investigators go back to 700 B.C. It takes a lot of training to become a crime scene investigator and yet the education requirements vary. Crime scene investigator salaries range from $61,110 to $93,880 if not more. This type of profession has many open opportunities and always will. Crime scene investigators have very appealing jobs and responsibilities, knowing everyday is something different.
Crimes happen all over the world within a minute. Every day, thousands of people die within a couple of minutes. So people question, how do people get away in such crime? How is a crime done in such a way? Or how is crime solved? Such as, murder, assault, break and enter, rape, sexual abuse, shooting, and etc (“Crime Scene Investigator [1]”). When a crime is committed, crime scene investigators are to be the first ones to appear at the incident. Many forces become involved such as crime scene investigators, forensic specialist, police and even the federal bureau of investigation (“Crime Scene Investigator…”). As time goes by, something happens or something shows up whether it’s a piece of evidence or another crime. Crime scene investigators are important to solving a case because; they are forensics specialists who are highly trained in crime scene analysis and evidence recovery (“Crime Scene Investigator…”). Although most CSI’s are police officers, some police forces hire civilians who have been trained in crime scene investigation

When I had found out more and more information about crime scene investigators, I have realized and put some thought to it that being a crime scene investigator is a mesmerizing job that I would love to pursue after my high school career. The crime scene investigator job varies, there are many possibilities for this career; the job has always been present in history since 700 B.C. The education requirement has a minimum of a bachelor’s or associates degree in various branches in the criminal justice field as well as the science field; it has a salary average of $72,470 and helpful benefits as well. There will always be an open opportunity in criminal justice. With all the different potentials of crime scene investigator available, many people have a chance to become a CSI.
