The trade of a carpenter involves more than hands on skills; its a strategic development skill. Carpentry is a skill where hand-eye coordination and basic math is key, but also visualization skills. Carpenters must be familiar with all their tools and must be able to use them correctly. A carpenter needs to use certain tools in order to be successful in a job, those tools consist of Essential power tools and Non Essential power tools. The framing hammer is used for framing houses and other structures, the trip hammer is used for hitting trim nails into the trim without damaging it, and the sledge hammer is used when you need more weight and power than a conventional hammer.
