Macbeth killed his friend because Banquo, because the three witches said that his sons will be heir to the throne even though Macbeth is the king of Denmark and he doesn’t have any children. The three witches come into play when they were telling Macbeth and Banquo the prophecy about how Macbeth was to become king and how Banquo’s children will rule the crown after Macbeth dies from nature, which he doesn’t understand how he can die from nature due to trees not being able to move and such like that.
The three witches cause all of this especially him killing the king Duncan and hiring people to kill people to keep his crown as long as he can even though Macbeth knows that he will die from some reason, because everything that the three witches …show more content…

Although Macbeth is scared of losing the throne and dying even though he didn’t earn it the right way and killed the king Duncan. Everything the witches said would happen is happening so far thus when they said that Macbeth will be kill by nature he will most likely be killed by nature and he doesn’t think it is possible, the fact that Macduff is going to try and find the king's sons who were framed for the murder and prove that is was Macbeth. How Macbeth hires someone to go kill Macduff’s family while he is out is wrong and should not have been done even if Macduff is going to bring Macbeth down and will do whatever it takes to do so he is like the detective in the story always hunting for the truth as like Macbeth is the killer in a tv show and everyone knows it but you're just waiting to find out if everyone else figures it out. Overall the fact that Macbeth is killing for personal gain is not morally correct and that he will be punished for it. Just like the three witches said he would be killed by nature that could mean by natural causes or by wildlife, but Macbeth can’t accept that and he is going crazy after killing people and hiring people to kill
