Relationships, to me, are very important to have in your life. Some people may think of one of the most common relationships, which would be romantic. However, when I think of relationships, I personally think of the people around you. Anyone in your life has a relationship with you. These relationships aren’t always good, but they aren’t always bad either. In my life, the relationships I have are shared with family, friends, teachers, etc. However, I am surrounded everyday with “adult” relationships, team relationships, and more.
Adult relationship would be my parents. When I am at home, whether it’s before school or after school, I see my parents. My parents are married, therefore, they have a different relationship than I have. So, even though I am not in a romantic relationship, I am still surrounded by at LEAST one everyday.

Even though I can’t truly relate to that, I do have a basic understanding of what one consists of. Since I go to school, there is a similar relationship with students than there is with teachers. Teachers work together and, for the most part, plan similar assignments and have similar expectations as to what the students should be doing/following. Therefore, in a “work” world there would be the teacher, or the boss, and the students, other known as the employees. A common relationship I think of when I think of relationships is friendship. I have many friends that have different traits and characters which forces me to have different relationships with each and every one of them. Having a relationship with your friends may be a negative or positive relationship. For example, if you have a disagreement with one of your friends, you may have a negative vibe towards them, which would create a negative relationship with them. If there is a positive relationship, usually both people in the “relationship” have common likes/dislikes and can agree on one
Throughout the second half of this semester, dual relationships have been emphasized as one of the most frequently encountered ethical dilemmas faced by behavior analysts in the field today. According to the class lectures, assigned text, and other articles that we have read, this is due to the fact that we interact with our clients and those caring for them in their natural settings. As a result, those we provide services to, and interact with, are in the places in which they feel the most comfortable, their homes or regular classrooms. This is in stark contrast to a formal office setting, which projects an atmosphere with both expected standards of acceptable behavior, and clear boundaries between client and the service provider. In an effort

Throughout most of my life I have gained friendships and relationships with others that have turned into long term, but others which only lasted a short while. The friendship that has greatly impacted my life significantly over the last eight years is someone who means so much to me. This meaningful friendship all started back when I was in middle school, which has grown stronger over the years. I met Brooke in middle school because we had some of the same classes and were in homeroom together. Our friendship developed quickly and lasted throughout our high school years. We became really close our Junior and Senior year of high school. But, maintaining our friendship hasn’t always been so easy. Today, we text and call each other on our free time, but I know I can count and rely on her when I need someone to talk too. I call her my second sister and vice versa. And when we go home on breaks we see one another as much as we can. The best part of our relationship is that if one is in need of advice or in need of a shoulder to cry on, we are always there for one another. Keeping in contact is very important in our relationship and communication has played a key role in our relationship.
“Relationships are what make up our world today, they shape the ways we see things and the way that we do things, relationships affect how we see the world today.” I believe supporting what your partner does, having a great sum of trust and showing your affections towards your partner is what will make a healthy relationship great.
Relationships are so amazing because no matter what happens, you always have people to keep you up when you’re feeling down, to give you advice when you are lost on what to do, or to go to when you have great news and you want to share with so they can be happy with you. If you just found out that you won a contest to go on a cruise to the Bahamas you’re probably going to be so excited in your screaming and cheering that you have to call and tell someone immediately so they can share the excitement with you, but if you don’t have friends or family to go to it’s not as exciting just keeping it to yourself. Maybe you were even having a bad day and you just need someone to make you laugh and to put a big smile on your face. Without those relationships built with your friends and family you would have
