As a land of great Indian civilizations, Mexico also offers beautiful ruins as fascinating as the ones in Greece. Mexico borders the United States, Guatemala, and Belize. It shares a seaside border with Cuba and Honduras. “Mexico is at once the most ancient and most modern country in Latin America”(Reilly 3) Mexico has a wonderful geography, a temperate climate, a social government, a growing economy, diverse culture, and interesting facts you can learn about.
There are three reasons why people like to visit Mexico. Mexico is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea to the East. Firstly, Mexico has snow capped mountains, tropical rainforests, and rich grasslands, Mexico is not just a dry country. Secondly, the coastal lowlands are hot, the plateaus are temperate, and mountains are cool. Lastly, the hot and wet seasons are from May to October while December to February are the cool months. The Climate in Mexico is not only hot and dry but also but also cold and wet.
Mexico has a lot of ways to keep the Economy great. For instance, Mexico has become the US’ second largest export market market and third largest source of imports. One main reason for Mexico’s growing economic strength is the North American Free trade, including Canada and the U.S. Mexico formed the Pacific Alliance with Peru, Colombia, and Chile, Which is a Latin America trade bloc. In other words, Mexico has a great economy so far.
Mexico’s Government is run by a president and federal state. The current president of Mexico is Enrique Pena Nieto, and has been since December first of 2012. Navy and Air Force service is all voluntary, kids enrolled in military school from age 15 are also considered members of the armed force.
