I. Identify and Describe Career
I chose to gather information about mechanical engineering because I would like to pursue a career in this field. mechanical engineering is a broad subject with countless definitions at best it is simply the analyzation and creation of moving mechanisms. My grandfather always pushed me to be an engineer, because of him I've learned to do well in math and enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties of a mechanical engineer when making this decision.

There is a lot to prepare for in school for this career but, for out of school, it's a good idea to build on your creativity, listening skills, and mental math skills. The courses I'm taking to achieve my degree include general studies, thermodynamics and multiple courses of calculus according to several engineering students at OSU 've spoken to. It will take me 4 to 5 years to completely join the engineering career force, but after 2 or 3 years of college, I can apply for an internship. To become a mechanical engineer you should start at a high school level when you notice curiosity of how, any why things work.

My decision to become an electrical engineer was not a decision I took too long ago. I am applying for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Solid Mechanics to expand on my study of and experience with materials.
