Electrical Engineering entails many benefits but also many sacrifices. It is not a job for everybody but it is a necessity in the modern times. Without Electrical Engineering, there would be no phone upgrades, no solar panels, no ways of conserving energy. This is a career that touches every living person on the planet. The reason this career was chosen was because of family business and my interest in anything electric. I’ve always been interested in how electricity works, even when I was a as young as 5. I would build my own simple circuits and light up my room when I was little. So this has always been an interest for me and I love it! But first, get my bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, start in the company promoted and go on from there. Easy enough for anybody with even little interest in Electrical Engineering. Now, I have way more than a little so the education and training will be as easy as pie for me.
Education, training and experience are rigorous but passable. “In order to enter the occupation, prospective electrical and electronics engineers need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or electrical engineering technology.” There’s 3 areas, so the study varies which is a positive. Also another positive would be working indoors. This is great for anybody. Especially staying in the South when summer temperatures soar into the 90s. “Electrical and electronics engineers generally work indoors in offices. However, they may visit sites to observe a problem or a piece of complex equipment.”. Sounds like a dream environment for many!
