Over this past year, there was a single utmost outstanding accomplishment that has given me a constant source of pride and achievement above all else. During the summer prior to my senior year, I took part in Miami Dade’s paid internship program. During the school year, my Information Technology teacher personally told me about the internship program and emphasized that I attend the presentation taking place. After attending the presentation, I became interested but uncertain what to expect from this internship experience. Prior to this, I had never worked in a corporate IT environment. Despite that, I realized this experience would ultimately benefit me more than anything I have ever accomplished.
After applying for the internship position and doing the interview, I was accepted by Orsini IT, LLC. Orsini IT, LLC is a local family

Ray had an intern and I work as a team to design and develop a program that would allow new clients to submit information on a web-based form. This program would then utilize an API to automatically create a domain based on the data submitted. This programming project proved itself as a difficult, yet prideful challenge. The first challenge was learning two different programming languages which I never learned before; PHP and HTML. Learning these languages presented itself to only be the minuscule stump in the road piled with boulders. My teammate and I diligently spent several weeks in a ceaseless cycle of programming then troubleshooting what we had programmed. Developing this program proved to be the most valuable part of the internship because I learned a significant amount of information about programming, the detailed process of troubleshooting code, and utilizing web servers. Ultimately, this project was one of the most rewarding and prideful accomplishment of the entire
My internship began with a short orientation of KPMG’s office located in the Wells Fargo Building of downtown Minneapolis. After some introductions and a few training sessions that outlined what was expected of us in terms of the rules and laws we were required to follow including disclosure of client and firm information and independence affidavits, for example, we were briefed on our trip to Orlando for National Internship Training which would take place the following work day. Training for Partnership-focused federal tax interns would last a whole week filled with events and educational seminars that would introduce us to tax fundamentals and software tutorials that would be helpful during our time with KPMG. National Internship Training would be the primary training session for every KPMG intern in the nation, hosting thousands of interns assigned to all pillars of accounting (audit, tax, and advisory). During meals and events the interns had opportunities to meet interns from around the country helping to expand our professional and social networks, which I found to be one ...
For my co-op assignment I worked for the Clark College Foundation as a Prospect Research/Database Intern. When I first entered the foundation I was unsure of how I would fit into the organization. This would be the first time I had ever worked in an office environment and I had no idea what would be expected of me and if I would be able to perform the job that I had been hired for.
“It took a lot of discipline, hard work and dedication. At a young age, I was determined to be successful. In the eighth grade, I made history by becoming a member of the inaugural class at the world-renowned STEM Early College at North Carolina A&T State University. Yes this was a great accomplishment, but as I went through high school I learned you don’t gain understanding of the course material by taking notes and paying attention in class alone, but rather studying the course material and being able to apply it in various real-life situations. My sophomore year, I made history once again by becoming the first high school student to acquire an internship with Elon Law School. I knew this would be the perfect opportunity for me to test if I wanted to be in the law profession, and gain some insight on what really goes on in a law office or non-profit. They denied my request at first because I was not qualified to care for clients due to my lack of law knowledge. However, later they were able to develop a personal research internship, which gave be the same type of hands on experience without the need of the knowledge taught in law
During the Fall 2015 semester, I accepted an internship with REAL Physical Therapy Clinic. REAL Physical Therapy is a clinic that is co-owned by two UTSA Graduates. They allowed me to assist them with their marketing department during the fall semester. At the beginning of the semester, they let me know what I would be responsible for while interning for the company and what projects I would be helping them with. Through out the semester I accomplished many tasks and learned a great deal while I worked for REAL Physical Therapy.
My most significant accomplishment would be placing second in the United States of America National FFA Agriscience Fair. Building up to this accomplishment was a challenge I never imagined to take on. It began with my FFA Chapter Agriscience Fair. I had decided against competing, but my adviser suggested I try. Pulling together a project, I placed second. This meant I would not compete at the state level. My adviser urged me to perform another project, under a new category, promising to take me to state. I worked hard and created a project in a week. Surprised, but true to his word, my adviser entered me into the State FFA Agriscience Fair. Upon my interview, I was nervous. I was shy and out of my comfort zone, but I gave my best effort. I
This experience provided me with a bright flashing arrow leading me toward the path of a future career. After my first foray into the field of finance in a small student-run club, I transitioned into more significant endeavors eventually culminating in an internship with a financial technology services firm named Active
Being successful in high school is not about achieving perfect grades. Your success is measured by how you are as a student. There is an obvious misconception, that you have to be intelligent to thrive in the academic setting. After three years of highschool, I have come to realize that one's brain power rarely affects their ability to learn anything. The intent of high school was not to make students come out smarter, it was to make students become better learners.
My internship ended the week before the fall semester began. Three month was really not a long time, but it meant a lot to me. It was not only a great experience for clinical practice, meanwhile, I knew more about the meaning of life and the responsibilities I had. I was a new person since then with a new attitude. I was so lucky that I had a chance to change myself. Thanks to the old man. I hadn’t heard anything from him after he left the hospital, but I really wish that he is still alive. Ever since he talked to me, I didn’t feel proud when someone called me doctor anymore. I know that is who I will be, and there is nothing to be proud of.
I believe that hard work is the real treasure of a person because without hard work we cannot achieve our dreams and goals in life. No one can achieve success without doing hard work. It starts when we stop looking for alternatives or shortcuts towards success. We need to remember that there are no short cuts to success. Hard work, complimented with an intense desire to struggle and to achieve success is the only sure way of reaching success that you have always wanted. Hard work is one of the secret for us to be successful in life. Laziness and sluggishness makes one’s life a curse and only hard work can make your life a blessing. We cannot work hard if we don’t have goals. The meaning of goal according to Wikipedia is a desired result of a
My college years have been filled with fun, memories, friends, and studies. My academic and social experiences have taught me the importance of excellence, hard work, and organization. There have also been experiences that have challenged me to give my best effort in what I do and strive for excellence. My experiences in colleges have encouraged me to push the limits to what I can do because I have been able to discover new skills and abilities I can apply to my studies and job. One experience that has been instrumental in my growth is my summer internship with Smith Carney, Co. P.C., a small accounting firm in Oklahoma City.

My Co-Op internship at Casio USA has been a wonderful learning experience this spring semester. This Digital Marketing internship provided new knowledge of an industry I have never worked in before. I found starting an internship in a new industry to be a challenge for me but it was a problem that I wanted to face head on. In fact, I turned down an internship that was at North Jersey Federal Credit Union.

“The failure is the mother of success” this Chinese quote said that failure is not the end. Failure is where people learn from their mistake. People cannot be successful all the time. Indeed, there are many people who learned from their failures before being successful. Each failure that people had met is a helpful lesson and valuable experience to help them become a better person.
I have made many achievements in my life. I am happy to be such an achiever at things. I remember my first achievement which was in kindergarten. In kindergarten I got on the honor roll for the first time. I was so happy, but I was just happy because my mom was happy. I didn’t even know what honor roll meant, but I finally founded out that is meant that I got all A’s. My mom was so happy for me, and I got lot of money for my A’s. After that my next achievement was that I learn how to ride a bike. When I first started to ride a bike with no training wheels I kept on falling. After I kept falling I didn’t want to learn anymore, but I saw that my little cousin was riding a bike, so I just had to learn how to ride a bike. Finally, after all the sores and burses, I learned how to ride a bike. I still fall every now and then.
