Why Green road approach is sustainable
It has been a long time that the approach was started around the world. However, we have looked at some of aspects of green roads on the basis of the sustainable development and worldwide accepted sustainable development, to define green road as a sustainable approach developed. The principles, implementing procedures, outputs of the green road projects are the important verifiable indicators.

Green road concept encourages the optimum uses of the local resources in the form of the local labour, local materials and local finance. Suitable construction techniques are applied by using mainly local construction materials like excavated stone, chips, soil, plants, etc. and locally produced tools and low cost intermediate equipment where possible which is suitable wheelbarrows and appropriate drilling equipment, etc.

The resultant heated debate has been whether stakeholders in the automobile industry and governments should strive to make cars more fuel-efficient. This paper expounds on whether investments are worth being made towards making cars more efficient in a bid to reduce the degree of pollution coming from current types of cars. In addition, it argues whether the focus ought to be making cars with a motive to make profit. In effect, the general idea presented in the paper is which ought to be the best way of ensuring that vehicles produced are efficient for individuals, the environment, and the economy at large.

For natural environmental aspect, it could protect natural environment, and, to some extent, improve air quality of urban areas. In addition, protecting habitats for wild animals is another function. Green belt provides open space for urban population to access to fresh air. For planning aspect, it is helpful to prevent urban sprawl. A green car also known as an environmental friendly car is a road vehicle that produces less harmful effects to the environment compared to conventional cars. It is referred to as a green car because it consumes less gas and therefore, less pollution on the environment. A green car can run on electricity only or a combination of electricity and hydrogen based fuel meaning educed carbon emissions. This means carbon emissions on the environment will be at reduced levels and therefore, the amount of pollution and emissions on the environment will be at minimized levels. Moreover, the ozone layer is protected and this helps to protect all living things under the sun including human beings, plants and animals from ultra violet rays from the sun. Road transport is said to be the third largest source of carbon emissions in the air and if green cars are used, these emission will be reduced thus a clean environment.
