Air Pollution has become a growing problem the environment/earth has had to face with the introduction of man-made technology and natural sources. This particular type of pollution is made of a diverse variety of harmful materials that when introduced into Earth's atmosphere, destroys the equilibrium of our living environment. The introduction of these chemicals consequently has a negative effect on people’s health, food crops, and a big range of other living organisms. We as humans are mostly responsible with the contamination our planet by introducing the use of power plants, diesel cars, trucks, etc. and therefore we are responsible for preventing further pollution by introducing new ways of clean technology.
There are two types of air pollution that affect the environment. The Primary pollutants are emitted directly into the atmosphere from sources and can have effects as secondary pollutants. Then, there are secondary pollutants. The secondary pollutants are not directly transmitted, like primary pollutants, but chemicals react when the primary pollutants are already in the atmosphere (Learner.org, 2014). The major causes of air pollution are considering pollutant where majority of them can be assigned to man, since manufacturing is being implemented wrong in the world. One of the biggest factors are causing air pollutions are Carbon dioxide based, such as: Gasoline burning engines and power plants; and Sulfur dioxide like man made machines and natural causes. According to universe today, 2010, gasoline burning engines are the most useful carbon dioxide, since its always use in our daily life. Because of this the level of carbon dioxide or CO2 have increased 25 % than a year ago (Co2.cms.udel.edu, 2014). On the other hand, ...

...re are many other ways to help reduce air pollution. When we are at home the best way of conserving energy is turning off any electronic or light that is not being used (EPA. Gov, 2014). Also, reclining rules have been applied in the United States; recycle paper, glass bottle, cardboard reduce energy (EPA. Gov, 2014).
In conclusion, without doubt we are destroying our planet Earth without noticing. The earth itself causes natural sources that lead to air pollution and the somehow are capable to recover from those sources; Nevertheless, as human continues with the use of fossil fuels as dependence of industrialization, then our planet will be getting worse. At cause of acid rain, carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, many people are suffering from cancer and other diseases due to the high level of contamination in the air and causing a high amount of death every year
When we think of air pollution we think of the refineries in our cities and the exhaust coming from our cars mostly. In reality there are many more pollutants that we don't think about every day. The six most common air pollutants are; “Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen oxides, Sulphur oxides, Particulate matter, Volatile organic compounds, and Ground-level ozone (nitrogen oxide and Volatile organic compounds reaction)”(David Suzuki Foundation). The fact is people are dying from air pollution and we are doing nothing to make it better, in fact air pollution is getting worse.
Pollution is affecting many individuals and life, as we know it. We need to do something about how it’s affecting our world. That’s why I urge the issue that more people should realize that pollution is an issue that needs to be prevented because of its negative consequences. Which are health affects, the total destruction of environments, and the death of animals and plants. More awareness must be brought up amongst the people and they must realize the long-term benefits it has for the world.
Case Study - Corporate Obstacles to Pollution Prevention. Overview This case focuses on corporate obstacles to pollution prevention. Pollution prevention can be complex, especially for large corporations. There are many different forms of pollution prevention, including emissions control devices and incremental changes in existing technology.
PURPOSE: To persuade my audience that we must take action now to control air pollution
One of the most dangerous environment issues Southern California is facing today is air pollution. This includes the burning of fossil fuels and natural disasters. Los Angeles is one of the most polluted cities in the world, and the most polluted city in the United States. I will research information about the causes, the effects, and the history of air pollution in the Los Angeles. For my research, I have relied mostly on, the school’s database and library, as well as current events.
Central idea: The involvement of technology has change the Earth’s atmosphere, it is important to understand how can air pollution in the community, and how it involves with the emissions of vehicles.
Air pollution is caused by many things such as car fumes, burning of fossil fuels,
Air pollution according to the Wikipedia << is the introduction of particulates, biological materials, or other harmful materials into the Earth’s atmosphere, possibly causing disease, death to humans, damage to other living organisms such as food crops, or the natural or built environment>>. Therefore, human being should be aware of the facts that the environment and all living creatures are dying. They need to understand the importance of natural items, the nature, etc…
There are many different ways that we as the earths population are destroying the environment. For example, the tall cooling towers used by industries. They do not remove pollutants but simply push them higher into the atmosphere, in this way they reduce their concentration at that particular area. The pollutants may then travel over large distances and produce negative effects in areas far away from the original site.
Air Pollution is when a poisonous or a harmful substance is released in the air. There are many form of pollution but air is one of them, it only occurs when dust, harmful gases or smoke enters into the atmosphere and makes it hard for species like plants, animals and humans to live in a difficult situation because of the dirty air.Air Pollution is classified in two sections, invisible air pollution and visible air pollution.. Hence any substance that makes it difficult for the living things that need the atmosphere is air pollution.Humans have been undergoing air pollution ever since the industrial revolution. In order to understand the causes of Air pollution, it is divided into divisions. Primary air pollutants and secondary air pollutants:
The world today is vastly different from what it was before urbanisation and industrialisation had taken its toll on the world. Since the turn of the new millennium the issue of the environment has suddenly evolved into a widespread issue which is greatly discussed throughout the world. No longer are humans living in a world where the environment is serene or stable but much rather becoming unrecognisable and diminishing before our eyes. The plants, trees and flowers are life forms which God has created for us to enjoy its beauty but it is now solely up to us and many other organisations to protect preserve and respect how fragile our environment really is.
Efforts to improve the standard of living for humans--through the control of nature and the development of new products--have also resulted in the pollution, or contamination, of the environment. Much of the world's air, water, and land is now partially poisoned by chemical wastes. Some places have become uninhabitable. This pollution exposes people all around the globe to new risks from disease. Many species of plants and animals have become endangered or are now extinct. As a result of these developments, governments have passed laws to limit or reverse the threat of environmental pollution.
Every other day a new industries are being set up, new vehicles on roads and trees are being cut to make way for new homes. All of them, indirect way lead to increase in CO2 leads to melting of polar ice caps which increase the sea level and pose danger for the people living near coastal areas. Pollution can have an impact in our health not only affects people with impaired respiratory system such as asthmatics, but very healthy adults and children too. Exposure to pollution for 6 to 7 hours, even at relatively low concentrations, reduces lung function and induces respiratory inflammation and, healthy people during periods of moderate
Air pollution is a type of pollution that can severely damage our environment as well as the earth’s atmosphere. Air pollution occurs all the time when the air contains many substances ...
Are you aware of the detrimental impacts that we have had on our environment? Every second, the Earth is being polluted by poisonous gases, waste products and due to human activities, the world’s climate is dramatically changing. In other words, these impacts do not only harm our environment but also our health. It has been scientifically proven that air pollution causes respiratory diseases and cancer, due to the inhalation of all the harmful chemicals. Water pollution can also lead to typhoid, diarrheal diseases and other waterborne disease, due to the intake of bacteria and parasites. Many people have died due to these health-related illnesses. So why are we still living in this awful condition? Air sustains us and water is a basic necessity, so we should do what we can to prevent pollution. In short, we should protect our environment to ensure a healthy life a...
