A greater level of entrepreneurial business opportunities will exist in a poor, developing economy, rather than in a rich, developed economy because the needs and opportunities are more widespread, they have a different and greater cultural awareness, and have the opportunity to assess industries that have a high level of market risk before entering them. Entrepreneurial ventures and small businesses in developing countries are extremely beneficial and are essential because they generate income and jobs, and they invest their business into the community that it operates in. Through this they also generate goods and services for the locals in these communities and will often tackle environmental and social issues of the community as well. When led correctly these businesses should grow and create more jobs, more services and more wealth to the community. (Naude et al. 2011)

During the last three years I have devoted a significant amount of time and energy to the betterment of young entrepreneurs, who in this country are mistreated, stripped of opportunities, and looked down upon. In my quest to start my own business, I faced many obstacles that I later found to plague all entrepreneurs in my country. Established family heads discourage their younger members from starting separate businesses; they would rather their younger members join them in the so called "safe business." Moreover, companies and government organizations will not award contracts to young people since older people earn respect for their age rather than their ideas in this traditional sub-continental culture. With an uncooperative family and no sources of funding, young entrepreneurs face little chance of success.
In a comparative light there seems to be significant problems, or obstacles, for African-American entrepreneurs. These problems are categorized by environmental factors, opportunity factors, and issues related to capital. The purpose of this paper is to provide sociological, and economical insight to the plight of African-American entrepreneurs. There is an effort to trace the development of African-American entrepreneurship throughout American history, in the post-reconstruction era to the present, in relationship to social conditions of discrimination. Uniquely, African-American entrepreneurs are involved in the affirmation of a paradox of American ideology. African-American entrepreneurs, in pursuit of the American dream, have been taught to stress individual success where what is needed is communal solidarity to foster access to the things that they have been categorically denied.
There has been a large amount of attention paid to the subject of entrepreneurship in the last few years; mainly because most people have chosen to go from working for somebody else, to be their own bosses and work for their dreams. Nevertheless, many still wonder what is entrepreneurship and what is that sets entrepreneurs apart from other regular business owners. At first, it seems both concepts do not differ much from each other since they both start up and run businesses and assume risks to pursue opportunities; however, there are certain traits that difference them.
Government has taken a deliberate strategic direction to develop the small business sector and promote entrepreneurship as an instrument of growth and employment generation, particularly in those segments of society the hardest hit by recession, structural adjustment and the recent global economic crisis. Enhancement of the economy has continued to be a goal of the public and private sectors of Trinidad and Tobago. For example, the Small Business Enterprise Sector is perceived to be the engine driver to radically transform and diversify the local economy. Thus, an entrepreneurial culture is the thing that most organizations ought to strive
Small businesses have been considered the mainstay in countries around the world. In many European countries for example, the small business has been considered crucial to the success and flourishment of the country in general. Most individuals start upon a small business venture in the hopes of realizing ownership, independent profits and personal success. Small businesses can prove extremely successful when planned properly. Studies suggest that several small businesses, however, close or fail within the first few years of operation. This failure suggests that a majority of small business owners may not have as yet realized the crucial success factors necessary for successful implementation of a small business.

Throughout Europe, great attention has been paid to the small business area and to the contribution that entrepreneurial small businesses can bring beneficial to transforming the economy (EiM, 1994).The concept of entrepreneurship is often considered with new venture creation and small enterprise management, and the terms of owner-manager and self-employment (Gibb, 1996). Nowadays, entrepreneurship becomes most popular career, where our government encourages our graduated student to involve in business so that unemployment will not happen in our country. These steps are termed as the process of entrepreneurial which is the systematic method of preparation of an enterprise that consists of four steps. The four steps are fundamental to the success of an entrepreneur venture.
