In my results of The Enneagram inventory, I scored the highest in the type two category classified as “the helper”. On one end of the spectrum, the type two personality is warm, kind and loving with a deep seeded motivation to help other people. The basic desire of one who possesses this personality type is to love and to be loved (The Enneagram Institute, 2016). Type twos are inspired by the natural care and concern they feel for others and are likely to persevere in the area of unconditional love above all else. They are known for being self-sacrificial and often go out of their way to make others feel important.

The ability to be self-aware, identify specific personality traits, and assess personal strengths and weaknesses are powerful tools for lifelong personal and professional success. One of the most popular and trusted personality assessment tools utilized today is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (CPP, 2016). According to Meyers-Briggs Personality test my personality type is ESFJ also known as “The Caregiver.” An ESFJ is one of 13 personality types identified through the Myers-Briggs assessment tool (HumanmetricsInc, 2016). This assignment will identify the different aspects of my personality and how they work together. It will also evaluate strengths, weaknesses and organizational behaviors in an effort to maximize professional performance.
Next is Agreeableness, which is a trait that when expressed by someone, is shown as caring about others, being empathetic and generally enjoy helping other people. Someone who has a lot of this characteristic are the listeners in a group of people. They’re the ones who empathize with others. Many even become social workers (King). Others who have lower levels of agreeableness normally don’t have much interest in other people, are closed off, and have no interest in others issues.
