It has the unique quality of presenting you work in an utterly breathtaking fashion. Using a thesaurus would certainly make your work stand out among the rest. The reason is that it offers you an amazing range of alternate words and phrases for the commonly used words and gives your work a fresh look. The kind of thrilling and vibrant words that it suggests for the synonymous words that you regularly use for your writing gives your work a unique touch. Moreover, it increases your vocabulary which is considered to be an additional skill for a writer and is preferred and appreciated every where. A thesaurus also provides the antonyms for the words that you have used in your paper. A format guide is also an essential tool when you have to write a lot on different topics and patterns. Working on making a perfect paper and organizing your work using a format guide is a great idea. A proofreader is assumed to be the compulsory tool for any kind of paper when you are writing on a professional level. It is usually difficult for a writer to proofread his own piece of creation because he is mostly used to the pattern and format of the paper that he has produced. As the first semester of my sophomore year wraps up, I begin to realize that I have learned a lot in all of my classes. The class that I learned the most from has definitely been my English 111 course. This class have given me so many opportunities to improve my writing skills. With all of the success I’ve had in this class, I believe I will do just fine with writing later in my life.
As a second language learner I have never expected myself to be a perfect writer throughout the semester. Even If English was my first language still, I would not be a perfect writer. English 102 has taught me a lot about my writing. Becoming a better writer and pushing myself to the next level was my goal for this semester. Therefore, I learned how to use research to back up my arguments. We wrote many different essays based on different types of literature, which is something I had not done before. Initially, I had a few problems, but learned from those mistakes to become better at writing. I definitely have things that I need to work on in the future. However, looking back on my semester I have overcome many of my writing obstacles and have become a better writer.

I believe that achieving success in teaching very different aspects of life may still combine similar processes. My life in high school was very similar to the lives of many other students in that it revolved around two things: sports and school. My sport of choice was tennis and my favorite academic area was English. Unexpectedly, I found many similarities led to a successful performance in both areas. My understanding of the need for a good program to follow and a lot of practice with it led to success in both tennis and my academic performance (especially English). Upon becoming a recognized player in my area, I decided to take the skill that I knew better than any other and utilize it as a job; I was a tennis coach. Success in that field, teaching mainly high school students, has led me to believe I can adopt a similar program for success in the classroom. Just as I had to learn an effective way to teach others the tennis skills that I had learned, I will also have to be able to adjust my philosophy inside a classroom. My outline for successful teaching of writing combines what I have put into practice working with high school students in a sports forum with what I am learning is the best way to approach a writing classroom.
