1. Introduction
English has been recognized by the world as a crucial means of global communication. It functions as a lingua franca that bridges people with different mother tongues to communicate with one another (Setiadi, 2013). In order to get involved in the global community, ones whose native language is not English are required to master speaking English as tool for international communication (Anggoro, 2014). Not only does English serve as a crucial mean of wide communication, but it is a tool for social advancement( Sinwongsuwat and Teng, 2015).

The major problems are Thai students’ way of study as well as teacher’s ignorance about learners’ problems. They remain silent when they do not understand, which cause teacher assumes that they do. The majority of English teachers, moreover, still rely on the traditional method, which focuses on the rules of linguistic usage, and memorizing the vocabulary. The goal of teaching and learning English is just to pass the examination especially O-NET (Ordinary National Education Test), which is the test that the government uses to evaluate the performance of schools. Teachers consequently tend to teach students to perform well in the exam, rather than to use it in real life. As the result, when Thai students are asked some questions by foreigners, assigned to give English speech and so forth, only ten of hundred students dare enough to speak out.In response to the aforementioned conditions, the researcher feels the need to offer possible solutions to the problem and one of which is the implementation of CLT in the classroom.

There are vast communication differences between males and females, which makes it difficult for the two sexes to maintain stable and functional relationships with each other. Areas in which these problems occur include children’s development, friendships, romantic relationships, and work environments. If these communication problems continue to persist in heterosexual relationships, our nations heterosexual divorce rates may rise well over 50% in the next few decades.

A language is defined as "a systematic means of communicating ideas or feelings by the use of conventionalized signs, sounds gestures or marks having understood meanings." (Webster's, 654), and "is a tool for communication" (Emmet, 22). In most common use of language, these signs are the words which we employ in such a way that they may communicate ideas or feelings. Communication, that is, the conveyance of an idea or emotion from one to another, relies largely upon language, and rightly so, as it is a powerful tool when employed correctly. However, misunderstandings in communication occur when two people have a different understanding of their language, or they use language in such a way that it results in communication which is unclear or vague.
As an inevitable consequence of technology and globalization, society is demanding on adult population to learn English. It is widely known that English is the dominant language in business, tourism and science. That is why, as a lingua franca, knowing the language has become fundamental to enter the job market and to succeed in business and education. It is also evident that, for an effective communication among people from different countries, the English language is the best option. But this is just one aspect related to the many reasons that adults have to learn English in this society.

Washoe stared at her, then looked down. She finally peered into Kat's eyes again and carefully signed "CRY", touching her cheek and drawing her finger down the path a tear would make on a human (Chimpanzees don't shed tears). Kat later remarked that one sign told her more about Washoe and her mental capabilities than all her longer, grammatically perfect sentences."
English can be a challenging language to properly read. There are so many rules and an infinite amount of letter combinations that will produce new words. Being able to properly pronounce each syllable in a word is hard, and being able to control the pace of your reading is even harder. Respecting the effect of the comma by slowing down your reading and making sure that you properly sound out each letter that is in the word can be difficult. For me, a student who is bilingual, differentiating the sounds of the letters in English and the sounds of the words in Spanish was extremely difficult.

A fundamental aspect of language acquisition is acquiring sufficient vocabulary to understand and convey meaning. As the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach is today´s contemporary method of teaching languages, the Grammar Translation Approach´s Focus on Forms (FonFs) became obsolete. Instead of the intentional teaching of language items, the CLT classroom focuses on incidental learning. Incidental learning is key principle of Focus on Form (FonF) and applied in the SLA classroom to give it a more naturalistic atmosphere.
It has been adopted by different sectors making it one of the most used languages in the globe. This has been attributed to its effective nature, easy learning and rich history. However, conservative groups exist who argues that there should be global language since it may cause the emergence of superior cultures. Nevertheless, it is evident that different cultures ranging from the early polish immigrants, the African American community, the advertising and media will greatly benefit from the globalization of the English language. This will prove in the end that English is indeed a global
Over the years English inarguably has reached a status of a global language and commonly is characterized as a lingua franca. It has become the language that is spoken by millions of people all over the world; as the mother tongue, as the language used for international communication and as the language learned in the millions of schools.
Language. It is a sign of who we are and where we come from. As language defines us, so does it unite us, but it can also impose barriers that drive us apart. As our society aggressively pursues globalization, individuals who maintain cultural sensitivity and strive for effective communication despite language barriers will be an increasingly important commodity; individuals who can also pass the gift of adept communication to others will be invaluable. On the eve of my college graduation, the culmination of four years ' immersion in language and communication and the beginning of a lifetime of educating others in these disciplines, I feel increasingly the weight of
