End Of Pipe Solutions For Protecting The Environment

Pollution has caused a lot of damage to the environment and have created an unsustainable systems that we need to change to save the environment. “Sustainable development is when humans meet their needs while protecting the environment.” (Chiras,2015). So if we do not protect the needs of our environment then it is unsustainable. “End of pipe solutions are were placed on factories and power plants to remove air pollution, but they produce vast amounts of waste that had to be disposed of.” (Chiras,2015). People tried to fix all the polluting they were doing in the air by making end of pipe solutions but that just caused the pollution to change into a different type. “Many solutions like end of pipe solutions slow the rate of environmental impact, but they have not stopped it.”(Chiras,2015). While people have created a solution for air pollution it is not the best solution and can only be temporary if we want to have a sustainable environment. “For years people have made economic decisions with little or no regard for the environmental impact they have.” (Chiras,2015).
